I turned vegetarian when traveling to India in 2010. Since 2016 I’m living in Maputo, Mozambique in Southern Africa. I live AVAP “as vegan as possible”. I don’t mind some Ghee in an Indian dish sometimes or if there’s really no other options I will eat something that includes traces of dairy. But generally I am very well prepared when I travel and I can live vegan mostly. I’m extremely happy to see more and more people eating plant based. I’m passionate for agriculture and I’m a practitioner of Agroforestry and Regenerative Agriculture on my own plot close to Maputo. I work “biocyclic vegan” which is like organic but without animal husbandry, without using and abusing animals for food. In my food forest I use loads of compost and other nature based solutions to improve my soil fertility and soil life. I work as an inspector for organic agriculture for Ecocert SAS.
