Hello, don’t know if anyone reads these but I’m gonna say a few things about myself. I’m a Latino woman who grew up in a developing country. Mean was very scarce so I ate mostly a vegetarian diet. In 2006, I went vegan cold turkey by watching a video of a cow being slaughtered. I grew to understand animal rights and that thought has kept me strong all of these years. My area doesn’t have many vegan restaurants but we have a couple well established ones like Veg World, Garden Fresh and Sweet Veggie. I work near Whittier so I’m able to access more Vegan food there as well.
