Instructions
Preheat a griddle to medium heat. Oil generously to prevent sticking.
Add all the ingredients except the bread to a large bowl. Whisk vigorously until bubbly.
Dip the bread, one slice at a time, into the bowl to coat thoroughly. Remove excess batter before placing the slice on the griddle.
Cook each side until browned, about 3 to 5 minutes.
Serve warm with toppings of your choice.
