Just happened to stumble across this gem of a pizza parlor while doing the tourist thing in Philadelphia. At least 6 vegan pies to choose from to have a slice. Very reasonably priced and super tasty.

Read moreMy only complaints are that it's a smidge pricey for me, which is what makes it a treat, but hey! it's a specialty food place in Center City, of course it's gonna be a little pricey. Also, when I had it delivered, it arrived near-cold (this was a while ago though, and all I had to do was pop it in the oven for a few minutes, no big deal).
The staff is very amiable and friendly, and I'm glad that Blackbird was able to pass the torch onto their sister restaurant so graciously.
However........if y'all brought the wings from Blackbird to 20th street......I'd die and go to heaven. literally.

I've only had the pleasure of eating their food once, but I'm obsessed. Their pizza is the best I've ever had in my entire life, without any doubt (that includes all of the pizza that New Haven, CT has to offer).

I always prefer red-sauce pizzas, but their white pizza is *chef's kiss*. Seriously sublime. The garlic and lemon ricotta are beyond delicious.
Plain and hot potato were both amazing as well. Their crust is crispy, chewy, and perfect.
It's everything I look for in pizza and I'm so sad that I can't eat their food more often.
This place lives up to the hype.

Most slices are bomb, if they have Stromboli by chance (not always as it’s a special), try it. This pizza place outshines most of the regular cheese pizza in center city.

After finding out that their other location, BlackBird pizzeria, no longer sold pizza I headed over to this location and found it to be good but less options compared to BlackBird and good luck getting there in a car if you’re out of town—took me 37 minutes to get here from BlackBird in a car around 1pm on a Friday

So glad I decided to try this place. For me, vegan pizza is always somewhat of a let down but this was hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had. I like my pizza on the thinner side so this was right up my alley. I got 3 different slices, all equally delicious and fresh. Friendly staff as well.

This place is dedicated to vegan pizza and they do an amazing job! They have many choices of toppings and the only one I would not recommend is the plain cheese one. I think you can order individual slices now which is great. A bit pricey but worth it!

My dad and I drove sixty miles to try this pizza and it was hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had, vegan or not. My non vegan dad said that this was one of the best pizzas he’s had, and definitely the best vegan pizza he’s ever had. Lots of options, ingredients tasted super fresh, was ready quickly, and they handled COVID very well. You call and let them know when you get there, and a masked employee brings your food out and put it in your car. I felt very safe, and will be going back again and again(yes, even though I live sixty miles away. I am anxiously awaiting their expansion to closer to me)

I had gone here the first week it opened and returned just recently to find out they changed the syle of their pizza! Originally every pizza they sold wash deep dish, so when I ordered online thats what I expected and was definitely disappointed. Otherwise, their pizza has great flavors, but their other location (blackbird) might be a bit better due to having more options.
