Delicious Tapas in Berlin - Edit
This establishment is a gem. Tasty tapas, delicious drinks, lively atmosphere - and the entire menu is plant-based. Will say that you should book a reservation in advance, especially for larger parties.

Best Spanish vegan in Berlin - Edit
Oh my god, speechless. The cashew "foie gras" is out of this world. Also the Spanish omelette is a must try. Service could be a bit friendlier... But I will swallow my pride and go back, and then swallow the croquetas.

This place is just legit. The owner is warm and the food is great - a real tapas menu in the heart of Neukölln. Great wine list, jaw dropping garlic aioli, spicy salty perfect olives - it's lovely.

Very rude owner - Edit
The host who was present was very rude from the get go and seemed very upset, perhaps they weren't having a good day. Right before we left the host put on music on an absurd volume and disappeared behind the counter before we could thank her for her time.

Many different tasty plates available to share with friends 💙 - Edit
Went here with a couple of friends and we shared an obscene amount of small plates, everything was quite tasty and I especially loved the patatas bravas. They also had Shirley temples on the menu which I haven’t had in years and was very good! I think the strict time limit for seating means you don’t get the super relaxed vibe of sharing tapas for some hours, especially since getting the food can take quite a while when it’s busy. But I feel visiting here is worth it because there is a LOT of choice, everything is vegan, and tasty!

delicous food, prices were normal/expensive/reservation needed - Edit
The tapas were really good, I recommend the patatas! If you want to sit inside (or even outside): make a reservation! We were lucky to still get a seat outside but only because we arrived early in the evening! The prices are normal for a completely vegan/ hip bar/restaurant but still on the expensive side nonetheless.

Underwhelming - Edit
Highly underwhelming.
Read moreAnd to be fair, I will mention that the patatas bravas were good. For everything else, the following applies: good photos for Instagram are more important than taste.
The concept of the 2-hour time slots doesn't work if you're not served 3/4 hours before time is up, but you're thrown out VERY rude- and punctually. Thank god, there are plenty of vegan alternatives in Neukölln! Never again!

Delicious place - Edit
Everything was perfectly cooked and the ambiance is extraordinary. We had 4 tapas for 2 persons. Patatas bravas (so good and no idea how theymake the sauce so creamy!), geraücherter mandelricotta (perfect texture and the homade bred was extraordinary), verbrante aubergine (so melting), and a tomatoes salad. The place is beautifull and original, the service was good.

100% Tasty Tapas - Edit
Alaska Bar is the best vegan restaurant we visited in Germany and it’s easy to understand why it was packed out! We enjoyed a range of tapas: patatas bravas, lox, feta with winter vegetables, croquettes and vegan foie gras. Every dish we sampled was a delicious taste sensation. Most were 100% prepared in their own kitchen. Great mocktail menu too and we loved the gingerinha. Be sure to reserve a table to avoid disappointment.

Delicious food, cocktails, atmosphere - Edit
Had a great time at Alaska. Slightly eccentric decor inside peppered with vegan messaging (and plenty of animal pics). Seating spaces are cosy so be prepared to sit pretty close to the neighbour behind you. This plus the Europop/disco music and excellent drinks list, as well as the popularity of the bar wit regulars, creates a great atmosphere. There are some outdoor seats where I waited for a space inside (the weather has just changed enough for it to be a bit too cold outside).
Read moreIt is a little difficult to pick the right number of options for a solo diner as you want to try most things but they're all more of a 'sharing' size so beware.
I had the best croquette I've ever had (cauliflower with coconut milk and curry powder) and the patatas bravas was also excellent. The chorizo sandwich was delicious but pretty heavy and I'd made the mistake of over ordering.
The food is good value if ordering in a group.
Pros: Incredible food, Great atmosphere with warm and friendly staff, Great wine and cocktail list
Cons: Tricky to get a seat inside!

About as authentic vegan tapas as you'll find - Edit
The only place in Berlin where you'll find authentic vegan Spanish tapas. Great atmosphere, mainly because it's rather small and very popular, so it's almost always pretty packed inside. Making reservations is a good idea.

made almond ricotta and olives are something u can try next time maybe.

Birthday - Edit
I went for my 40th birthday to this restaurant, calling a good 10 days in advance to make a reservation, when I called I asked if their menu had either Sparkling Wine or Prosecco and was told no, specifying that we would eat and drink in the restaurant anyway, I asked if I could bring two bottles of prosecco because it is customary for birthdays to celebrate with these drinks, I was told yes.
Read moreOn May 21 exactly Sunday lunch, we go there and it was the only occupied table with 9 people, with tables reserved for us with tablecloths with happy birthday written on them.
So far so good, as soon as I get the bottles of prosecco the waiter calls the owner who in a totally unprofessional way told me, no no here we can't have drinks from outside.
Since there were 9 of us, I avoided leaving, because I don't make a fool of myself with my friends.
The owner had my review deleted on Google, saying I am a liar because all the people working with her could not have said that since they have been working there for years and said I wanted to save money with my drinks brought from outside.
In all this in the place there was our table occupied and two other tables with two people,we paid as much as 150 euros if not more and considering the behavior they had not only lost a customer but as many as 9.
In addition, the owner who cares about external controls, did not bother to be seen drinking the leftovers in the customers' glasses.
Pros: Nice food
Cons: Customer Service

Read moreYou and your boyfriend are a couple of bullies who do not understand what a no means and what running a small bussiness means.
Im so tired of both of you writting again and again bad reviews about my restaurant just because i didnt let yoi drink your own bottlesnof proseco since i dont let that happend.
Get a restauran, pay all the things this restaurant needs to be open and then let me know how nice is having people try to bring their own drinks (which by the way is something quite cheap to do).
And to finish with that ( its been a month) as i told u i do not sell meat and i dont expect peoplw to bring meat to my restaurant.
By the way i ask all the people who answer the phone to pick up reservations and nobody told u that u can bring Proseco to my restaurant.
And the fact that you think becaise you spend 150 euros for 9 people give you some sort of privilege to do whatever you want..... says a lot about u.
