Such great vibes at this little gem in prenzlauerberg. I came here several times and I am glad to get the same quality of the service and food every time I come back. The owners as well as the seating spots make you feel like home in no time and for a vegan the food is just great!

We all ordered different items and everyone liked their choice. The service was great and the chef was professional and easy going - and the restaurant was getting busy.
I loved their Panini with a side of tomatoes soup.
The food presentation was great and we tried Also some Vegan Raw cakes ,coffees bagels everything was delicious. I look forward to returning and trying more, my wife enjoyed everything about Ataya . I hope you try it if you haven't been there already because it's awesome. Thank you Elisabetta and Bachir you are amazing guys!

I visit the Cafe very often and it was always good. The food tastes very nice every time I had been there. I really recommend it to all the people who enjoy vegan meals. Also the drinks are creative and have a new style touch.

One of Berlin's hidden gems - Edit
I ate here with my uncle a few months ago and it certainly did not disappoint! We tried the Sunday brunch and it was fresh and incredibly tasty! Even my non-vegan uncle LOVED the food. There is a nice variety of dishes and some spicier ones which I liked. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. Since then, I've been with 2 friends (both non-vegan) and they were equally impressed. This is my new favorite place! I also love how incredibly friendly the staff is-- quite uncommon in a city like Berlin where service is not always up to par. Highly recommended!!!!

Read moreDuring my vegan tour in Europe I’d saw many vegan restaurant ,I can say that Ataya is on the top of my list!
Every single thing I had was beautiful and absolutely delicious. The hummus was enough to make me go again, but the raw chocolate mousse really pushed it over the edge.
Owners are amazing with a huge knowledge about vegan food.
They serve extremely good coffee as well.

The Coziest and Tastiest Cafe in Berlin - Edit
I’ve eaten here three times already over the course of the week and do not plan on slowing down! The menu is extremely well thought out and every dish is made up of many ingredients, all of which are healthy, and of course, vegan. I really recommend the hummus platter, as well as the smoothies and hot chocolate. I have yet to try their desserts, but I bet they’re just as delicious. Also, I really like the cafe’s location, as they are located on a quiet street in the heart of sunny Prenzlauerberg.

Geniales cleanes Essen bis zum Platzen - Edit
Ich war mit meiner Freundin da und es war mega lecker! Es gibt zig viele Gerichte. Und ich bin normalerweise einwenig vorsichtig beim Auswärtsessen, da ich Öl und Salz gar nicht gut vertrage. Das Essen war, wie man im Neudeutschen sagt "Clean". Das heißt, ich habe mir den kompletten Bauch vollgeschlagen :). Kann ich wirklich wirklich allen empfehlen.

My friend and I came here last week and we had a great time. We spent two hours at Atayacaffe. The staff was super friendly. Eating gluten-free food here is no problem. Definitely try their hummus if you have the chance and their ciabatta is also super good!

I love to see such wonderful independent cafes with an incredible food philosophy thriving.
The coffee is very well made and Italian sourced.
I came here several times during my stay and I tryed out almost everything: pasta fresca,Hummus,smoothies bowls, their eclectic salads are the best!
And raw cakes are to die for !

Went there with a friend for their Sunday brunch which was AMAZING!

Everything is fresh and well balanced, spicy at the point ,creative and super healthy.
The brunch is very affordable,only 14€ and you can eat how much you want/can😋and most important thing ,the staff is not pushing you to kick you away (this happens in many brunches)
They make fresh smoothies on the spot and coffee is great as well.
Special mention goes to the staff: lovely and helpful even on a very busy Brunch!
Great playlist.
Can’t wait to go during the week for trying more food.

This is a nice and cosy Café, with friendly staff and a weekly Brunch on sundays. Some of the dishes were unique and incredibly tasty, others were okay but nothing special - which is okay, so there is probably something for everyone. The smoothies were good and coffee was fine, too. In comparison to other vegan brunches in Berlin there are not that many choices though, especially on the sweet side (today only Water melon and chocolate cake). And the price for water seemed rather high - especially as they don't offer tap water.

Excellent, colourful and delicious Brunch - Edit
AtayaCaffe is an Italian and African influenced restaurant. A delectable and fun experience! We were warmly welcomed by the owners. There are many books to read and pieces of art to view in this cosy atmosphere. It has a modern look with vintage furniture. Outside seating is available. The food has distinct flavours and each plate is a colourful work of art. The products are organic. The cappuccino is strong and there are lots of different plant-based milks to choose from (2.70-3.20 euros).
Read moreThe breakfast comes with hummus, a delicious red-pepper dip, a curry couscous, Italian-style bread, half of an avocado sprinkled with poppy seeds, salad, a croissant with a chocolate-nut-nougat spread, oats with yoghurt and fruits, baked peppers, a smoothie with Acai berry and banana, and more! It is very filling for one person and could even be split between two people. All of this for 13 euros.
We also had an African Bowl that had diverse flavours (10 euros). From potatoes in a peanut sauce to a cabbage-based dish with olives, onions, and mustard. It also comes with a salad, whole-wheat couscous, and Sicilian flatbread. If you’re in Berlin and looking for a great atmosphere with tasty food, do not miss AtayaCaffe!

the Ataja Caffe is a secret ( or not so secret anymore, I guess, which is good !!! ) little vegan haven, colorful and joyful, that will provide a temporary home to not only vegans but anybody who is looking for : friendly staff, calm but inspirational feeling, lovely furniture and of course very very good food ! everything is made with so much heart and love, I will come back whenever I can ! The vegan brunch on Sundays is a great way to start the end of the weekend and have a little chat with the owners books, music atmosphere, food - everything top notch !
