Amazing burgers - Edit
Best vegan burger I've had in months.The place is quite small and there isn't a very wide range of selection, but the stuff are very friendly and the food is super delicious. I would definitely recommend eating here.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Good food, I had the ramen special although the tofu special with pea and basil sauce was better (more tasty)! The menu has a reasonable selection and there are a few dessert options.

Small restaurant in downtown Bratislava with all vegan menu, serving burgers, hotdogs, quesadillas but has also menu that changes daily. Food is super delicious and tasty. They also serve homemade lemonades and bottled Kombucha. Place is quite tiny so if you want to grab a lunch during lunchtime come early.

Highly recommend this place! I could only spend one night in Bratislava but I chose to eat here and I'm glad I did. Excellent food, nice drinks selection and cool venue. Word for the wise: It's cash only so don't get caught with your pants down like I did!

Amazing place - the tofu burger was amazing. Staff were fantastic and adapted the meal for me so that I could have it gluten and wheat free. Location seems a bit in the middle of nowhere but that’s what also makes it such a hidden gem. Thank you. Delicious.

The first time I went to Balans Bistro, it was sadly all full with people already waiting outside so I left and came back another time instead. I ordered a lemonade with mint and coconut sugar and the Balans burger with fries. It was super delicious and really filling as well!

My non-veg friend and I both got the large spicy quesadillas. We were both pleased with the taste and portions. Price was okay. The restaurant is TINY. We ended up getting our food to-go and had to eat on the sidewalk which sucks. Besides that, would recommend.

They offer a very cheap daily changing lunch dish and a soup (both together 6.50 euros). Because this offer is only available until everything is sold out, I recommend going there between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. If you come later there is still a menu with burgers, burritos and quesiladas available and also vegan deserts like cake. English speaking stuff and the menu is also available in english. I would recommend to try some of their fancy drinks, like the ginger kombucha. The food is really tasty and cheap plus the portions are filling. Very cozy atmosphere inside!

The food in Balans Bistro was so good that we had to return the next day to have some more. The people are really friendly and the atmosphere in general is super nice. If ever back in Bratislava, I will definitely head back to Balans Bistro.
