Menu is always really nice and if you don't feel like having one, then you can be sure that their other meals will be great as well! I especially recommend the Balans burger with fries.
Read moreUpdate for 2021: went there twice after they moved and I wasn't very happy with the prices going up, don't like their new interiors as well. Food is kind of greasy, definitely avoid the fried cheese. Both times I wanted to order a pizza and they were out. This place used to be the best place in town, hope they can up their game. Will give it another try next year. They are trying to create menu that suits non-vegans and its just so heavy and greasy. I would recommend to go for their daily menu instead of burgers (which was their best offer in the past). The drink bar however really shines.

Food is amazing and staff really friendly! I wish I would live in Bratislava just to eat here every day. My boyfriend and I had the Seitan Medallions and the Kubano Sandwich… we loved the Kubano Sandwich so much that we ordered a second one even though we were already full. I definitively recommend this place!

We visited Balans pre-covid and absolutely loved it. We ordered way too much food but still managed to eat it all (simply because it was so so good!). Loved the fried cheese and potato salad in particular! Would go back in a heartbeat!

Really tasty burrito! It’s in my top 2 burritos ever 🏆. And believe me, I’ve tried many and I’m not saying this lightly as I’m very picky when it comes to food 😄.
Read moreIt’s a hip place with a cozy outdoor area, it was packed when I was there. Menu includes English translation. Staff was very friendly. Not the lowest prices but still count as reasonable for the quality you get in return. Definitely a must visit if you’re in Bratislava 💯.
