Our favorite spot in Amsterdam. So relaxing and chill, right on the water. You can literally eat and drink on the pier. And fully vegan!

Excellent food, fair price, wonderful project - Edit
Great food! The serving sizes were a bit on the small side, but the reasonable prices allowed for desserts and drinks which made up for it. Either way, immensely happy this project exists and that I could come support it.

Great vibes and food - Edit
I came here with my coworker and his wife who are omnis but veg curious. They loved it! The lemon risotto in particular was a hit, but everything was good. The location is right on the water and the decor reminds me of the hip neighborhoods in Berlin. This is a great place for groups.

De Ceuvel has been one of my favourite places in Amsterdam for many years. Especially on one of those warm evenings. This time however they have amazed me again with their refined kitchen, surprising and delicious dishes. One of Amsterdam’s -not so hidden anymore- gems 💗

Hier toevallig langs gekomen na een wandeling. Het was een leuke sfeer en we hebben lekker gegeten, alleen waren de porties wat klein voor hoeveel je betaalde.

Amazing - Edit
Cosy place, they have a cat, friendly staff, and unique fancy menu. A bit expensive if you want a quick bite, but ideal for a date or if you have something to celebrate. If you take a full meal, one drink and desert you should expect to pay between 30 and 50 per person. But I highly recommend to check it out. Will try to visit again this week for the fried mushrooms.

Cool place! A good midway point between Eye and STRAAT if you’re on foot.
Read moreBean Stew was good but the portion could’ve been bigger and would be better if the bread was toasted.
Non-vegan friend had the Bapao and a Cappuccino and he really enjoyed both.
Chocolate Brownie was insanely good. Dense, rich, and extremely chocolatey. One of the best I’ve ever had.

Sat just on the water’s edge in the north, with a lovely outside seating area that looks out onto a plein filled with interesting boats and pieces of artwork. Very high standard of food and menu. Excellent all round.

As we were staying north of the river this was on our list of places to stop, and it did not disappoint.

Homely - Edit
Had a mustard soup and some bitterballen and a couple of beers. It was spot on. People of all ages were there intermingling, staff were down to earth, and the decor is characterful. Heating was a touch high for me but I'm generally warm anyway so no bother. I'll go again I think.

Chestnut soup - Edit
The Café is within an interesting community, however now in winter the place looked deserted and we were not sure at first if the Café would be open, the livelihood inside was hidden from the outside. The interior arrangement and decoration were rustic but quite cozy, although we had to sit with our jackets as it was too cold for us. There was a system failure so we had to wait quite a bit before our order could be taken. The menu was separated into different time slots so to say, therefore the choice for lunch was rather limited. We had the Ravioli and chestnut soup which were quite tasty, we were also able to order the Bitterballen, as we stayed longer than 4 p. M., they were okay. The portions were not filling and the prices a bit high, at least compared to other vegan places. We did find the choice of dishes nice though, we never saw any other place offering chestnut soup or kimchi filled ravioli.

Cons: Pricy , Cold inside, Unisex bathroom
