Cat-themed vegan craft beer and burger bar with 9 taps of local Catalan beers. Serves vegan burgers, cactus sandwich, Tof-ish sandwich, double deep fried potatoes, and gluten-free plates. Order at the bar. A piano is available for anyone who can play. Reservations available, not necessary for under 3 people. Max table size 8 people, group booking for up to 18 a day in advance. Heating & Air-con. Companion animals welcome (despite the name no cats live at the venue). Relocated from C/ Boria 17. Open Mon-Sun 18:00-23:30. Last order 1 hour before close. last order for drinks 11pm.

Tiny restaurant, a little bit hidden and not so easy to find but worth your visit to grab a great vegan burger with potatoes and salad or solo and a nice draft beer from a local brewery (choice of 9 different beers)

The patatas bravas were very tasty, the burgers were very tasty, the service was nice and there was a cute dog that acted like a cat too! Prices were pretty okay. As i don’t drink, i cannot be impressed by the selection of tap beers they have, but i guess it’s also a nice thing😄10/10 would visit again

Great spot with delicious burgers, and if you can definitely get the potatoes with it; they were awesome. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. Also the dog next door is adorable. 😊 make this a stop on your adventure in Barcelona for sure!

When we arrived no one greeted us or told us where to sit or hand us a menu so we sat on a table for 5 minutes before we approached a girl that worked there. Bit odd. The potatas bravas (cubed Potato chips with sauce) were very good! I had the Champion burger which was good but not the best burger I’ve had in the world. €9 for burger and chips, not bad.

Normally the door person/waiter, or the bar person, will give you the menu, and show you a table, unless you sneak past them,.
Read moreOur customers normally greet the staff when they arrived, having read the sign outside which says "Ask at the bar for a table", or the sign on the end of the bar saying "Please, Wait to be seated", in 3 languages.
At busy times the door is locked from outside, to try to stop people just walking in, and taking any table, the bar is small and often 2 people will take the table for 5, or even a table that is already occupied by people who are tasting the beers at the bar.

The burger and fries were so tasty, they had some nice craft beers which went well with the food. The only negative was when we noticed people who ordered after us had finished their meals before ours arrived, turns out they forgot to put our order through when they weren’t even that busy. Other than that I would recommend anyone go there.

The Cat Bar is located right in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. The place has a very cool atmosphere and gives you a authentic insight in Barcelonas vegan scene. I tried the "Crazy" Burger which was very good. The plate of the day was a salad, patatas bravas and some fried tempeh, which was nothing special tbh. Anyways, the bar itself is worth a visit and the burgers are great, therefore you cannot do anything wrong with stopping by.

For any vegan not to go here would be sacrilege. We were lucky enough to be staying only a few minutes away but I would travel whatever it takes to eat another one of their burgers. A quirky little resteraunt with accommodating staff and some of the best vegan food I've ever tried. My boyfriend is recently turned veggie and said it was the best burger of his life. Get yourself there now !!🐱

Best food this holiday! Had black cat bean burger, champion burger and plate of the day which was falafel, salad and patatas. All absolutely gorgeous. Loads of it too! Well worth a visit.

Good Craft Beer and cool, nice, cosy atmosphere. The Food, we had the Spinach and the Bean Burger, was okay, nothing special and not so creative in Taste. We would come back for beer and for someting to nibble, for dinner we would choose another place.
