Incredible vegan food! - Edit
I went to Dervish with some friends for lunch, and we were given a table in a section where you take off your shows and sit on comfy pillows on a beautiful rug. The menu was full of really delicious-sounding food, and we (and our taste-buds) were not disappointed when it all arrived. The environment is very comfy, and with intricate, tasteful decor. At one point the waiter couldn't help himself, and started joining in on our somewhat political conversation. He said that he was from Ukrain, and that the owners had a yoga studio, where he and other staff were recruited to work at the restaurant. He said he really liked working there. And it shows. Same for the other staff.

Highly recommended.
Pros: comfy, with pretty decor, very tasty vegan food, warm and friendly staff

Feeling at home in an instant - Edit
At Dervish, you can get veganized Uzbek cuisine, which is clearly home-cooked and handmade.
Read moreFor me, experiencing the food here was very interesting. There are different dishes featuring dumplings, noodles, potatoes, beans and vegetables.
I particularly love the comfy and relaxed vibe of the restaurant inside. There is regular chair seating as well as seating on the floor on carpets. The walls are decorated with colorful tapestry and paintings.
The location is kids-friendly, offering even a kid's menu. In addition to that, dogs are allowed inside, too. Overall, a very welcoming spot with home-cooked foods. #Veganuary
Pros: Taste ok, Comfy cozy vibe

Diverse choices, good for sharing - Edit
Edit 6 Dec: stopped in tonight for dinner and was very disappointed by the food. I don't know what happened since the last time but the quality is pretty dang poor. The langman was sad, no flavor, the dumpling plate was also totally lacking in flavor and the flatbread was not fresh at all.

There are quite a few choices on the menu and ways you can order. Many of the dishes can be ordered in small/side versions to share, there are mixed sampler plates, and large/main sized versions of the dishes.
I didn't love the kofta, I found them to be quite dry, but everything else was tasty. We had the fried dumplings but would recommend the boiled or steamed. The tiramisu is delicious so leave room for dessert.
Prices a little high by Berlin standards.

Fun experience with outstanding meal - Edit
First of all - at least on the weekends - I’d advised to reserve a table. Added bonus: you can request to sit „on the floor“. Shoes off you can sit on an elevated platform with comfy cushions at a low table. The Uzbeki dishes taste great, the hummus was to die for.

Leckeres Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre - Edit
Klare Empfehlung!

A wonderful atmosphere but slightly disappointing food - Edit
For the taste of the food alone, I would give it a 3. However, the restaurant is a wonderful and cozy space with beautiful decorations and a lovely ambience. We sat on cushions on the floor to eat our meal. In addition, the platter for four people that we ordered was so big - there was so much food included with a lot of variety!! For those reasons, I'll rate the entire experience a 4.

Interesting and delicious food - Edit
We've never had this type of food before, so it was nice trying something new. We liked the fact that sets are offered on the menu so customers have a chance to try a variety of the food without having to order several large dishes. This worked great for us as we shared a Manti Set and a Kofta Set along with an order of the Qutab. We enjoyed all of the food in the sets, but we wished the plates were a little wider! It was difficult to maneuver because some of the food was piled high. We also ordered a pitcher of the Fruberries Lemonade which was very refreshing.
Read moreWe were given the lunch menus when we arrived for dinner as I think those may have been the only ones available in English. We only knew about the pitchers of Lemonade because we also checked the online menu.
Pros: Delicious food, "Sets" available which were essentially samplers, Friendly and knowledgable staff

Interesting and tasty - Edit
Such a nice place! The dishes and flavours were familiar (Levantine/middle eastern-like) yet different, it all tasted fresh and portions were big. Only the Non bread was a bit disappointing (it comes standard in the meal sets). Loved the fried Barak. Although we ate outside, the interior looked lovely. They don't serve alcohol, which is absolutely fine by me but handy to know perhaps.

Tasty Food - Edit
We tried the manti set and gulas. Especially mantı was very delicious. They also serve ayran. A drink made our of yogurt. It was also good. A bit pricy but good. There are usual tables but if you wish you may choose a more traditional seatings after removing your shoes.

I was overwhelmed of the taste of the köfte! The flavors of the karak and the different pickled veggies was amazing! But the best way to finish such a great meal was choosing the baclava-cheesecake and the vegamisu! Absolute bangers!!

Delicious vegan Uzbek cuisine - Edit
A great restaurant, never having tried Uzbek cuisine before, it was nice to know that everything on the menu was suitable for vegetarians and Vegans. The staff were very friendly and made me feel at home.
Read moreI had the “kofta set”, which consisted of 2 kofta kabob, spiced potatoes, a non bread, pickles, chaku sauce, bodimjon and fried spinach bakak. I also had a chai latte.
Everything was delicious and there was a good amount of food. Everything was clean and homely.
There are lots of vegan restaurants and even a vegan supermarket nearby, which is great.
Near the M10 tram route.
Pros: Chai latte, Korta kabob, Fried potatoes

The most interesting meal we found in the area. Uzbek cuisine is new to me - the dumplings, koftas and accompaniments were the most memorable dishes and flavours of our trip. The restaurant has a lovely interior. Glad we came across this lovely spot.

Dervish offers traditional dishes from Uzbekistan veganized.
Read moreVery interesting, as I have never been to a similar spot before.
The dishes remind me of russian cuisine with Mediterranean influences.
Options are for example okroshka, a cold kefir-soup with potato pieces and dill or an eggplant soy-chunk goulash.
Spices I recognized also take place in oriental / Arabic dishes (e.g. sumach).
This mix was pretty special.
Our favorite was the goulash - go and get it with some traditional bread to dip in!
Pros: staff was very friendly
