Founded in 2019 by Simon Hill & Tanya Smart, this is an 80-seat restaurant that offers plant-based food for everyone to enjoy. Positioned in the Pacific Building, near the entrance to the QT Hotel, Eden features a combination of cosy indoor and outdoor garden seating (with heating for the cooler months). The globally inspired menu covers everything from pizza and buddha bowls to burgers, pasta, share plates, and rotating specials. Serves hand-selected vegan, organic, and minimal intervention wines or cocktails. Reported closed January 2024.

A gem steps from the ocean in Bondi Beach

This lovely venue in the Pacific Building across from Bondi Beach has great outdoor seating. Everything on the menu is plant based. Twice I had to ask the server if something on my plate was actually plant based as it tasted so delicious! I can highly recommend the Classic Pizza, Eden’s Famous Green Sliders, Popcorn Cauli, Cheeseburger with fries, Sweet Potato Gnocchi and the Giant Cookie Skillet! Some of these dishes were gluten free. The Eden Salad was nice, but kind of bland in comparison to everything else that was ordered.
Our only minor glitch was not requesting a high chair when we made the booking as the two existing ones were already in use. The staff handled this beautifully.
All in all I highly recommend and plan to go back there as soon as possible.

Must go!

Absolutely incredible food, atmosphere, service and drinks! The outdoor area is like a little oasis I with beautiful styling and greenery all around. Can’t recommend this place enough! We went back 3 times during our stay in Bondi and everything we ordered was spot on. Loved the green sliders, pizza bianca with truffle oil and fysh tacos. This place has to be first on your list in Bondi!

Beautiful fine dining fresh food!

Wow! Been here a few times and definitely not my last! All delicious food, popcorn cauliflower is my favourite! The vegan sausage pizza is great too! Service is excellent quality, I took my partner here for his birthday and they gave us a free desert with sparkler, was just beautiful.

It was ok

Went for my birthday with two others. I am a fan of Plant Proof podcast which is why I booked. The staff were lovely although we were served our mains and were told the entrees would come later! The setting was lovely. The prices for the food were really expensive for what you get. The burger was mushy and rather bland. The fries were good but it isn’t hard to stuff up a fry... unless you charge too much for them (everything was overpriced).The skillet cookie was the best thing we ate but again expensive. There are countless vegan places to eat in Sydney where the food is way better and better value. I felt like we were paying for the setting which for me doesn’t cut it when spending so much on food, it’s only part of the experience. Reading other reviews I seem to be in a minority here. As a fan of Plant Proof podcast I hope that the restaurant does well and keeps improving.

Trendy setting, kind staff

Very cool spot with super friendly staff and delicious food. I’ve has a turmeric latte, terriyaki bowl and cookie skillet, they were all very yummy. It’s a very busy place, max.90min.dining slots, and do expect to wait for your table a bit.

so delicious

the atmosphere is friendly and comfortable and the staff are very helpful. the food is divine and so delicious. the price was reasonable and worthy of a tip. we will go again to try more of the menu because it all looks fabulously delicious. we shared the fysh tacos and pizza with sausage, it was so tasty. we just love this restaurant.

AMAZING FOOD, SERVICE, LOCATION!

We stumbled across this gem when we booked into the QT. We are strictly vegan and this is the first proper restaurant where we’ve had such a high quality experience & quality of food, in Australia. Amazing everything was amazing even the pricing! The Spag Bowl although sounds so original is the most delicious spag bowl I’ve ever had. Same for the Green Goddess Pizza & shoe string fries with truffle aioli 😋😋😋The service was outstanding and we gladly gave a tip! Thanks guys best night ever

Cons: Not open for breakfast or lunch :(

Amazing Plant Based Restaurant

This is an amazing little find! Found from review on happy cow and so glad we found it! We got a little lost trying to find it but when you walk in to the centre go up the stairs and it’s to the right! So worth it will defo go again before we leave Sydney! Lovely little location to sit outside, and great menu! And food!

Highly recommend!

Delicious food (falafels & hummus, cauli pop corn, BBQ jackfruit pizza, chocolate cookie skillet and spanish doughnuts..), great service and nice atmosphere. Can't wait for their brunch menu!

Great vibe

This restaurant is superb for vegans and non-vegans alike .
The menu is extensive and very interesting. The food delicious!
The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating .
Right near Bondi Beach the restaurant is beautifully decorated .
We have been waiting so long to have a proper healthy vegan establishment in this area .
Congratulations.

Yum!

This place is so inconspicuous as a vegan restaurant. The food is delicious and oh by the way plant based. Its setting the standard as it should be.

Pros: We enjoyed the pizzas, Focus on quality and flavour

Cons: Not many indoor tables for winter., There is heating outside though.

What a place!

Eden was absolutely beautiful. Having a completely plant based menu is a god send. If you live in the area I highly suggest you make the effort to get down there!
