Founded in 2019 by Simon Hill & Tanya Smart, this is an 80-seat restaurant that offers plant-based food for everyone to enjoy. Positioned in the Pacific Building, near the entrance to the QT Hotel, Eden features a combination of cosy indoor and outdoor garden seating (with heating for the cooler months). The globally inspired menu covers everything from pizza and buddha bowls to burgers, pasta, share plates, and rotating specials. Serves hand-selected vegan, organic, and minimal intervention wines or cocktails. Reported closed January 2024.

Fabulous and beautiful - Edit
Definitely has the slick, upmarket yet casual beachy vibe of Bondi done to perfection. Fortunately the menu, food and drinks backs up the sleek look and the beautiful crowd. Nice variety of choices on the menu ranging from pizza to Asian to Mexican. This sounds messy but actually suits the modern, 'international' vibe of the place.

My family and I have been to Eden many times and have never been disappointed! All of their food is phenomenal and it is my most favourite vegan restaurant of all time.

Seating not long enough/ rushed - Edit
The food was delicious and staff were friendly but we waited 20 minutes after our booking time for our order to be taken when we’d all decided what we wanted straight away. The mains then took a really long time to come out. We wanted to order dessert, but instead of being asked if we would like to order it, we were handed the bill and when we inquired we were informed that our table had been booked and we only had 15 minutes. It was pleasant up until that point and it came across quite rude. It was simply not our fault that we did not have enough time to order dessert and as a first impression for 3 of the guests, did not leave on a very good note. I would advise of either making your sessions longer or decreasing the wait time for food after ordering. This is not the first time I have been and the first experience was pleasant.

This restaurant ticks all the boxes: delicious food, 100% vegan, instagrammable, close to other vegan places (short stroll to vegan ice cream), and listen to feedback.

Their giuseppe pizza is beyond fabulous, pasta and mac n "cheese" taste so delicious and rich. My favourites are the giuseppe pizza and calamari. Though their pie can improve (mock meat aftertaste). My omni friends LOVEd the baked cauliflower (apparently the sauce taste like korean fried chicken's sauce).
A good venue for celebrations and intimate dinner.

Went here on a cold summer night, they had the outdoor heaters on and provided blankets for us as well. They also have fairy lights all over the courtyard, it is magical! We went for cocktails and they were so good - at happy hour they are half price too so we ended up trying most of them and they were all so tasty and looked so pretty! You have to visit here when in the area!

I booked eden for my mums birthday. Everything we had was so tasty including the drinks. Our waiter was very friendly and had great recommendations. The courtyard setting is lovely on a warm night and overall I thought this place was very special. I can’t wait to go back when possible

Being a big fan of Simon's, I wanted to come here for dinner. The food was amazing. I especially loved the popcorn cauli entrée. Dani was a great host and gave us some fabulous recommendations for menu items as well as other vegan dining venues. Was very friendly and upbeat.

Ok slight exaggeration but omnivore friend says he is going back here and bringing his partner. Particularly amazing watermelon "sashimi." The look of surprise when omnivore friend tasted this was priceless.

As avid listeners of Simon Hills’s plant proof podcast we had to head out to Bondi to try his restaurant out. He wasn’t there but Tanya was working away. Smallish menu but great variety nonetheless. Our dishes were excellent. The bright green sliders are a must eat and the spag bol was great comfort food. I think the cheesecake may have been the best though. All very tasty and healthy. Will come again next time I’m in Sydney. Best to book ahead though.
