Better options at CSC

I am a Cambridge Street Collective super fan but wouldn't recommend El Chappo for vegans. The food is nice, but the vegan options are just veggie options with the fun stuff removed and no replacements (like vegan cheese or crema) so prefer to go elsewhere.

Overpriced and disapointing

I was excited to try the vegan offerings in the new Cambridge St. Collective, which claims to be 'Europe's largest purpose-built food hall'.
I visited on the 2nd day after the place opened. I decided to eat at El Chappo.
I paid £13.50 for 'pulled shroom loaded fries', which turned out to be a small portion of fries, with just 1.5 smallish button mushrooms. The mushrooms weren't 'pulled' in any way, just halved and cooked. The flavour of the dish was nice, but definitely not worth the money.
I wanted to order the cauliflower wings too but they'd run out of cauliflower, despite only having opened the day before.
Also the service was very slow.

My sisters went and were equally disappointed. I really don't like the look or feel of the whole collective one bit. Overpriced trendy joint. A place to be ' seen'. To think what once was The Tea Studio veggie cafe was literally feet away from there.
