So exciting that these traditional churros are naturally vegan!!! Dips are not vegan but they’re still tasty without. They have vegan hot chocolate but were out when we went at the end of the day.

Read moreSomehow, despite being vegan, the churros tasted like animal lard - strongly, more than anything else - and the chocolate just tasted like water.
To say this wasn't the best churros or chocolate I've had here is to an understatement.
Pros: Very nice staff
Cons: Flavor was meaty for no understandable reason

I’ll be dreaming about these churros and the olla coffee. Everything clearly marked vegan. You can also get shakes. There are many branches throughout the city. Churros freshly prepared and utterly delicious. It’s not unusual to see queues of locals getting churros in the morning and evening. An absolute must whilst in CDMX. #Veganuary

Perfectly fine place. Churros were good, hot chocolate was good, they have 5 or 6 versions. Substitute veg milk costs 11 pesos. Everything is transparently shown on the menu.

We went there, wanted to have a hot chocolate and a tea. The waitress was not friendly and said that they don’t have tea (it was on the menu) and there is only hot chocolate made with agua, not with vegan milk, so we left…

Amazing vegan churros and tasty vegan chocolate milkshake. Just ask for 'leche vegetal'. The staff here were so helpful with us even though our Spanish is very basic. Will definitely be coming back.

Insane churros and super friendly staff - Edit
Our Spanish is basic, the lady helped us a lot. We got 4 seasoned and 4 regular churros with 2 chocolate milkshake. Super tasty. Would probably just get 4 to share between 2 next time.

Came here in the evening and it was super packed with a long line both for churros to go and seating (to be fair: Sunday evening right before Dia de Muertos, and El Moro is close to the Zocalo). Tried a second time the next day before noon: still very lively but easy to get a spot.

While they highlight that the churros are 100% vegan, they could also highlight what else is or is not on the menu. Similarly, all drinks can be made vegan but the menu doesn't tell you what the milk alternatives are, so be sure to ask if you're picky.

Delicious churros in the heart of Mexico City. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside just as they should be. Tip: order a hot chocolate and dip the churros in them until they absorb it. Too good!
