Hearty vegan breakfast - Edit
Had the ITALIAN PLANT BASED omelet made with just egg, vegan sausage, cheese & veggies. Would have love to have tried the cauliflower & chorizo bennie but server said it was a small meal. Also have lemon strawberry French toast as well as lunch options.

Wife and I came back twice for the same meals and everything was fabulous both times. We were lucky to be staying within walking distance and will miss when we leave!

Hair in my food, twice - Edit
I love their food & drinks and I live close by. Found a hair on top of my omelette last year. I gave them a second chance…and found another hair baked into my vegan cauli eggs Benedict. I haven’t been back. Obviously there are some questionable sanitation practices.

This spot has only a few vegan options in each menu section but they are clearly marked and the two I tried were both absolutely stellar and really healthy portions.

fig tree cafe in pacific beach is the perfect weekend brunch spot! i went with friends (very much not vegan) and they all were very happy with their meals. the vegan options on the menu are a great variety.
Read morei had the cauliflower chorizo eggs benidict with truffle oil potatoes. i was very impressed!! it was delicious and just the right amount of food. they added avocado free of charge too :)
the atmosphere is wonderful and there are a lot of cute photo opportunities

Lovely Ambience and Great Food - Edit
What a great spot! Loved the outdoor seating and decor. There's a designated vegan section on the menu which was super handy. I got the lemon french toast, delicious, although I didn't taste the lemon and they didn't give me any lemon curd. I also got the side of potatoes which was awesome.

A good place to visit with meat eaters. Quite a few meat free options on the menu, surprisingly more creative than even some vegan resto’s!

I had the cauliflower soyrizo bennie dish and it was faaaaaantastic! The flavors were excellent and I was really impressed. I usually have leftovers but not this time - ate it all😄Highly recommend checking this place out, especially if you have a group of vegans and non-vegans😄I look forward to going back to try other options.
