So good! One of the best! - Edit
This place is fantastic. The burgers are so good. The desserts are best ever, delicious and not too sweet. It's really comfortable too with air con, lots of good seating and helpful attentive staff.

favorite all vegan spot in Chiang Mai - Edit
I just absolutely love this place. Everything I have had here is delish. The mushroom burger is probably my favorite vegan burger ever and now they offer vegan cheese to go with it! I also recommend the falafel, smoothie bowls and breakfast potatoes. Yum!

Good menu choice - Edit
The food was excellent with a wide range on the menu. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was a bit concerned it would be expensive when there was no prices on the menu but when the bill came it was reasonable.

Great - Edit
Delicious food, generous portions, nice atmosphere. Glutenfree dishes are labled (thumps up for that - really makes life easier for celiacs like me!), for other allergens you'd probably have to ask. The staff speaks English and there is an english menu where you can find the ingredients of most dishes in more or less detail.

YUUUUUM - Edit
Goodsouls is one of the best places in Chiang Mai for vegan options. I eat here a lot, highlights include the banana pancakes with whipped 'cream' and syrup, the mushroom burgers, beetroot burger.
Read moreTop tip, for the 'steaks' there are 3 flavours to choose from: mushroom, beetroot and a curried chickpea quinoa one - you get 2 patties and if you want you can mix and match 2 of the 3 flavours :)
The cakes are also great here, plus good selection of juices, kombucha etc.
Pros: Lovely food, Nice inside decor / seating

sustainable, local, amazing food :) - Edit
I love the sustainable approach. They use metal straws and have their own compost for a future vegetable garden. They try to use as much organic and local food as possible. It definitely is my favourite restaurant in Chiang Mai. All was incredible delicious and very high quality. Most interesting for me was the Burmese tea leaf salad. It doesn’t look that interesting but the taste blew me away. I never tried anything like that before. The mushroom burger was very juicy and I can understand why even omnivores love it so much. Also try the mixedberry bowl with homemade coconut yoghurt. We were very impressed.

Weird curry - Edit
The massaman curry is not what I would think of as a massaman curry. Also, the chunks were huge! I’m not sure if it was stylistic or chef laziness, but I had to cut all the pieces to be able to eat them. Tasted pretty good though.
Read moreThai iced tea with coco milk is tasty, so rich, and not overly sweet. Very good!

Dear tulips.and.trains,
Read moreThank you for your feedback and for taking the time to write this review.
We stew our curry for a long period of time to create a more flavorful experience. This is the traditional method for cooking the Massaman Curry and smaller pieces of vegetables are not suitable. We are glad to hear you enjoyed our Thai Iced Tea with Coconut milk.
We hope you will visit again to try one of our many other dishes, we have a very large and accommodating menu for all tastes.
Kind regards,
Daniel

How could you not love this place - Edit
The staff is so lovely, the place is clean and air-conditioned, the food is to die for.
Read moreI recommend trying the mushroom steak (you can also try the burger but if you want to taste the plain patty without any mustard and bread then go for the steak)
They don't use any tofu except for the scrambled tofu, and I love that! I'm not a fan of replacing everything with tofu when it's not necessary.
The breakfast soup is huge and is only 90 baht. The Passion fruit lassi gets you addicted.
Don't miss out on this place!!
Cons: Nothing

Overpriced... - Edit
The food here was ok, but definitely overpriced for Thailand. The food isn't justified by the price I don't think. It was ok, but if you're paying 5 times the price for a curry you don't expect it to be worse than the 50p street food down the road...

Great vegan food - Edit
I went with my non-vegan friends and they all loved it. The mango smoothie is to die for and so are the mango pancakes. I went in April which I heard is mango season so that might have had something to do with it too.
Read moreThe Chiang Mai specialty noodles were really good. The regular version at other restaurants is with egg noodles so it might be quite rare to find a vegan version. The scrambled tofu was probably seasoned with black salt for egg flavour. My non-vegan friend said it tasted exactly like egg. I really liked the dip (aioli?) that comes with the french fries. The quinoa burger with grilled eggplant was okay but not that special.
Sweet menu:
The cashew cream layered cake tasted a bit like tiramisu and I'm not such a fan of that flavour but you'll like it if you are! The mango passion fruit cheese cake was nice but not very firm. I've had better vegan cheesecakes. The golden milk was quite strong. Do try the mango smoothie and lassi and the mango pancakes! You won't regret it.
I'd definitely go back to try out all the other menu items!
Pros: All vegan, Mango smoothe lassi and pancakes are to die for, All day breakfast
Cons: Quinoa eggplant burger wasn't that special, Cheesecake could be firmer, Golden milk was too strong for me

Number one in Chiang Nai - Edit
I had been there a few times while staying in ChM and never left dissapointed. Food is amazing and staff very friendly. I strongly recommened pad thai, red curry and deep fried spring rolls. A pancake is also worth going for. Their ice creams are must. My favourite were vanilla & mango. In terms of prices: 120 bahts for tasty vegan pad thai is not bad. I will definitely be back next time I am in ChM.

Great staff and amazing eats - Edit
In the heart of Old city we ended up eating here twice in the same day! We tried their Pad Thai, Spicy Minced Mushroom, and Khao Soi. The Pad Thai was spicy and fresh, the mushrooms were herbaceous and tasty, and vegan Kao Soi was good to the last drop. Then at night we got their Beetroot Burgers and Fried Spring Rolls. The burger held together perfectly and had an amazing vegan ranch on the side. Hard to pick a highlight because they were all so tasty. Great spot for vegans we loved every dish and will be going back!
