Delicious all-vegan restaurant - Edit
We ordered 4 starters for 2 and were more than satisfied. Everything is vegan and very tasty. A bit more on the pricier side.

Very cozy ambiance with a great rotating vegan pastry menu. I had the Breakfast Burrito. It was extremely filling and flavorful. They accept credit cards (International) which is awesome. The waiting staff were very amicable and patient.

Very good - Edit
Nice to have a vegan restaurant who have seitan.. I gave them 4 because their bowl have a little too much of rice and not enough of the rest... Staff are also little bit too pushy too sell something.

A vegan haven! - Edit
There's lots of delicious food on the menu, but I was most impressed with the sweets/bakery section as I haven't seen that in Manila yet. Lots of vegan donuts, danishes, cookies, and buns to choose from.
Read moreThe wet burrito is flavorful, substantial and topped with 3 different sauces (mayo, a cashew type, and chipotle). The sausage egg cheese muffin (a bun was used as they had run out of muffins) had some good flavors going on that reminded me of the original but nowhere near as oily. I look forward to trying more of the menu next time!

Delicious food - Edit
We are vegans traveling from Newport Beach California. We asked our hotel concierge if they knew of a vegan restaurant but they didn’t know what vegan food is. We used this app and saw wonderful reviews so we decided to come. The reviews are excellent but sometimes the reviews don’t match the food quality, taste, and service. Well, we were pleasantly surprised because the experience was just awesome! I highly recommend this restaurant to foodies, who are looking for vegan, tasty, healthy, and most importantly, great service!

Must Try When in Makati - Edit
Green Bar in Makati is a vegan haven that offers an exceptional culinary experience. Their menu features delectable vegan dishes made from seitan, a protein-rich meat substitute derived from wheat gluten. One standout item is the Wild Thing Bacun Cheeseburger, which combines smoky seitan bacun, melty vegan cheese, and a juicy plant-based patty. The flavors are well-balanced, and the texture is spot-on, making it a must-try for burger lovers.
Read moreAnother highly recommended dish is the BBQ Seitan Rice Bowl. Tender seitan strips marinated in a tangy barbecue sauce are served over fluffy rice, accompanied by a vibrant medley of vegetables. The sweet and savory flavors, along with the satisfying texture of the seitan, create a harmonious blend that will leave you craving for more.
For taco enthusiasts, the Cauliflower Tacos are a must-order. Crispy cauliflower florets, seasoned to perfection, are nestled in soft tortillas along with fresh greens and a zesty vegan sauce. Each bite offers a delightful combination of textures and flavors that will leave your taste buds dancing.
Green Bar Makati delivers a memorable vegan dining experience with their seitan-based offerings. Whether you're a dedicated vegan or simply looking to explore plant-based cuisine, Green Bar is sure to satisfy your cravings with their flavorful and well-executed dishes. Don't miss the Wild Thing Bacun Cheeseburger, BBQ Seitan Rice Bowl, and Cauliflower Tacos – they come highly recommended for a reason!
Pros: Good vegan options, Priced reasonably

Comfort food - Edit
This is a great place for vegan junk food. If you’re more whole food plant based, this isn’t the place for you. It has a large variety of comfort foods which you will love. I personally loved the chia pancakes. If you are not Filipino or American, (aka used to very high fat food) be warned, this is VERY oily. But the taste is great with good portion sizes!
Read morePros: All vegan, Junk food in every form to soothe the soul , Fresh smoothies, recommend watermelon.
Cons: Food can be oily (expected tho for the food type), Some items that normally are savoury can be sweet

Relaxed bar with great eats but horrible delivery experience - Edit
Update:
Read moreToday we ordered from Green Bar on Grab and were so disappointed. First of all: The item prices are considerably higher than for dine-in. Secondly, the servings were so small (opposed to our dine-in experience) that we all were still hungry after having paid almost 2k for 3 people. On top of that, some of the dishes were pretty bland. For us, that was it with Green Bar. We'd rather support fair businesses.
Original review:
Green bar is a comfy place in the heart of Makati, around the corner of Greenbelt mall.
We dropped by for late lunch and were happy with all day breakfast menu and a wide choice of other dishes, all vegan. The prices are a bit on the upper side, but well, it's Makati. We ordered Rice&Shine, Pulled Pork Sandwich and Red Burrito and were positively surprised by the size of the dishes. Considering we ordered 2 sides as well (fries, breakfast sausage), it was hard to clean out plates. Nonetheless, we had to try one of the amazing looking donuts as well and again, it was a mouth-watering experience.
Totally recommend if you're looking for fresh food with great taste and decent serving size in a comfy atmosphere and are not on a tight budget.

Excellent food in a beautiful setting - Edit
Fantastic restaurant with lovely staff, great food and a super chilled atmosphere. The tacos were exceptionally tasty and fresh, although the wraps were cold which surprised me. The burger was great - good cheese! Great selection of baked goods, especially doughnuts, which were light and fluffy (but a little greasy). The cheese pandesal were surprisingly good!
