I ordered the rice bowl salad which I thought would be more fresh as in the pictures, but it hardly had any salad and was incredibly oily.

We headed here after a visit to Osaka castle as it was super handy on the metro. It was on a street with many other restaurants so a popular spot. Family run business and the owner couple are vegan and were so kind and accommodating. Food was excellent. We had the lunch special followed by the ice cream- yum 😋

Came here a day with really nice weather and eat lunch outside, it's kinda unusual for me to find places with outside seating in japan so it was really nice. Ordered 2 dishes thinking they were smaller but I was pleasantly surprised with the sizes for the price. Really good.

We had the tempeh sandwich and it was delicious. Paired it with hummus and french fries (which are not like the West’s french fries, more like crispy potato chunks - still delish!) Super cheap too for the quality. I also picked up some chai cookies to take away which were lovely!

Uns hat es in dem Restaurant sehr gut geschmeckt. Vor allem das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Ich hatte eine Pizza, die eher an einen Flammkuchen erinnerte, aber sehr lecker war, dazu noch ein paar Pommes.. richtig gut! Mein Freund hatte eine Bowl, die ebenfalls sehr lecker war.

I'll be honest, I'm not sure why everyone raves about this place so much. It's not bad.. just okay. There are much better places nearby imo. It's apparently the oldest vegetarian restaurant in Osaka and seems like they haven't updated much since then. It feels quite old-school vegetarian restaurant.
Read moreI've eaten here multiple times, mostly out of convenience. The daily lunch plate is pretty decent although not as good value as it used to be now they've increased the price.
But I find their a la carte dinner menu more hit and miss.
The curry is okay albeit mild, and the BBQ rice bowl is nice. But the "soy burger" is really just a bean burger, which is fine just not what it claims to be. And I swear the "ramen" was just spaghetti in weak vegetable stock.
In conclusion, it's fine but nothing special. If you do visit, avoid the "ramen".

Green Earth has a really homey, “Grandma’s Kitchen” kind of vibe to it and the food is also exactly that! It’s really good, healthy and fresh. Everything tasted delicious and homemade. The restaurant is very simple—staff were very friendly. We saw many locals dining there. Highly recommend!
