Best place for sweet pies - Edit
This is my favourite place for sweet pies and nut bars. It’s quite small, but there are some additional seatings in the back and also a toilet.
Read moreMy favourites are pandan/coconut pie, blueberry/lemon pie, raspberry and cherry cheesecake, white chocolate mousse pie, strawberry/limoncello pie, forest fruit and rhubarb crumble, banana/peanutbutter/choco pie, peanutbutter/jelly pie, lychee pie, pumpkin cake, cinnamon and cardamon buns, walnut bar, snickers bar, and gevulde speculaas.
Quite good are carrot cake, peach pie, apple crumble, sesame/mango pie, blackberry/speculoos pie, cherry/coconut pie, cookies & cream pie, banana/hazelnut/choco pie, straciatella pie, praliné/choco mousse pie, cherry/choco pie, lychee/coconut pie, choco-chip cookie, orange/oat cookie, lemon cake, marble cake, banana cake, pistachio cake, pumpkin/orange cake and rocky road.
What I liked less were pistachio cheesecake, tiramisu pie, raspberry/chocolate pie, mocha/brownie pie, blueberry/custard pie and ‘verloren brood’.
Btw, their chai latte and coffee are a bit weak.

Can't wait to come back and sit down properly. We went by during the Vegan Food Tour (highly recommended) and had the snickers bar, which was really good. Had a peek inside and it looked really cozy and warm. Definitely coming back to try the other vegan options and coffee.

This place is so cute and has an incredible selection of bakes - I wish I could’ve tried everything!! I went for a hot chocolate and a slice of pistachio cheesecake. Both were so delicious 😋 definitely a must visit.

Heb er veel over gehoord en het heeft aan me verwachtingen voldaan. Het is een leuke locatie je kijkt uit op de domkerk. Ik had een raber drankje en een lemon cake. De cake was er lekker, de rest van het gebak zag er ook goed uit. Ik raad het zeker aan.

Am not often in Utrecht. My husband asked me to pick up something nice and sweet for the participants of his meeting tomorrow. Always good to use him as an excuse to pick up something nice for the family as well. We tasted 4 kinds of pie with 6 persons. They are all devine! I sure hope tomorrow someone will refuse one of them 🫣 #Veganuary

Cosy little bakery with great cakes! - Edit
A small bakery with friendly staff and some nice vegan cakes, cookies and such. We sat in a small room further into the store, nice cosy setting, with games, pictures, almost like a small livingroom.

Ontzettend leuk plekje met heerlijke taartjes - Edit
Bij Kluts kun je heel fijn zitten. Het is echt een knus cafeetje met heerlijke taartjes, koekjes en cake. Ze zijn erg royaal in de porties, vind ik erg fijn 😋. Vooral de chocomoussetaart is geweldig, maar het verloren brood (met, als ik het goed zeg, de restantjes erin verwerkt, dus no waste) is ook heerlijk. Aanrader!!

De lekkerste vegan taarten die je je maar kunt voorstellen 😍 Ik heb al drie verschillende taarten geproefd hier en het zijn letterlijk de beste taarten (vegan of niet) die ik ooit op heb! Het terrasje is ook heel pittoresk en voor de ligging bij de Dom nog redelijk rustig. De koffie en thee is er ook goed. Het enige nadeel is dat het vrij klein is en in de zomer snel vol kan zitten.

The snickers and the walnut cake were divine. The chocolate chip cookie was crunchy rather than soft, which is my preference, but I still enjoyed it.
