The food was a delight. We shared Pica Pau for an appetizer which was a savoury mix of abundant textures and flavours that were pickled and perfectly spiced. For mains we had the delicious savoury Bitoque with an “egg” and the “cod” which was creamy and mild.
We shared a berry cheesecake for dessert and walked out stuffed! It was our first time eating Portuguese food and what a terrific introduction it was!
The atmosphere was cheery and warm, everyone seemed happy in this delightful restaurant. What a gem! Can definitely see why this place is so beloved.

The food here was delicious and there was lots of choice. We had the seitan ribs, seitan steak, pistachio gateau and cheesecake and everything was amazing. Only small criticism is that the portions weren't huge so I could have done with having a starter too! The staff were also really friendly.

The Bacalhau com Natas was crazy, in a good way. There is a point where I considered stopping cause it was so rich and filling. But I knew I would never get to eat this again, so I persevered. The ribs with mashed potatoes were full of flavor too, esp the red wine sauce. The cheese plate was homemade, and well done, but at €16 we would have liked more cheese and less plate.

We most enjoyed the nata pie and ice cream. The nata came out hot and the crust was perfect with the creamy filling. The ice cream was thick. Big winner. Other stand outs were the vegan octopus entree and the beer battered cuttlefish (both mushroom based). The chef came out to talk to us and he is very excited about the food. We told him the octopus was out favorite and he said they marinate the mushroom base for 3 days to get it to its proper flavor and texture.

The place is fine but I think the 5 star reviews and hype are a little overrated. We ate at several places that were superior in Lisbon. The night we were there, the servers forgot a wine order for a table on one side and they forgot the sauce for my dish until I requested a second time. They are one of the only vegan restaurants that asks for an additional tip above the bill. Oh, and the place is very noisy. It was Ok but , by far, not the best in town.

Regarding your comments about tips, we would like to clarify that our policy is to never ask for tips let alone pressure in any way our clients to leave tips. We do have an option on our TPAs if someone wants to tip. One of the reasons we introduced this option is that some clients wanted to leave a tip when paying with card but were unsure whether this money would go to the bussiness or to staff. In this way we feel it’s more clear.
We are sorry that you felt pressured to tip as this is definitely not the intention. We would like to ask you if you felt that because there was that option or because the staff pressured you in any other way. This feedback would be important for us to improve future customer experience.

Incredible food. We started with the Portuguese Croquettes, then had the Portuguese 'Cod' and 'Ribs' for mains, and finished with the Pistachio mini-cake. All the food was delicious! Restaurant is a nice setting, in a good location and the staff were really friendly.

Buon menù con tante scelte, impiattamento stiloso e ricercato, ambiente molto curato. Abbiamo preso le croqueta, la francesinha e il bacalau: tutto ottimo. Unica pecca il servizio. All'ora di pranzo c'era un solo cameriere con 7 tavoli da servire, ha toppato due su due ordinazioni che abbiamo fatto. Peccato. L'esperienza in sé è stata comunque molto positiva!
