Good value and filling - Edit
This place isn’t fancy but it makes up for that in friendly and a wide range on their menu. Great for if you want something filling and quick (ish) on the go.
Read moreThe bulk of their menu is burgers and sandwiches it feels, so I opted for the tofu sandwich served with salad and a drink whilst my partner had a bbq burger served with fries. (We decided to split the salad and fries to get the best of both worlds hence the pictures showing both).
The mint and ginger lemonade was tasty.
My tofu sandwich was huge - it was $4200 so felt like insanely good value as I feel it could serve two people. Tasty enough, nothing overly special. Fried bread tofu, with some salad and mustard and mayo sauce. Soft bread.
Also ordered the tequenos - they came out cold and weren’t amazing.

Had the Milaneses Gigantes (which really is giant, see image attached) and some Limo. The Limo was very nice even though more on the sweeter side. Unfortunately both the Milaneses (I guess based on saitan?) and the side of fries were INCREDIBLY oily to the point were I couldn’t eat it. The Saitan was like a sponge and Fries were dripping of oil. Absolutely not recommended unfortunately

O Konu bar tem um amplo espaço e o atendimento é bem cordial. Eles servem refeições, mas o forte parece ser os lanches. Provei um BBQ Sandwich e o lanche estava gostoso e farto.

The guy drunk the leftover of the milkshake from the blender in front of his customers. The kitchen was dirty and in bad condition. Strange that this is a top rated restaurant in BA.

I went to Konu Bar for lunch today and left disappointed. The rice dish was dry and flavorless and the guacamole was very wet. We were most pleased with the steak - a pattie covered in marinara and cheese - which is the only thing that would be worth eating again.

Unimaginative rice dish and awful juice - Edit
Ordered a rice dish that was pretty uncreative: just rice and a dark unidentifiable sauce without taste in a portion so big that it almost fall off the plate. Their "juice of the day" was the worst juice I ever had: tasteless with outshaken sparkle. Dining room has no ambience, their YouTube music playlist on TV sounds horrible. Lastly, you can only pay in cash.

They have a large selection of sandwiches, pizzas, entrees, and desserts to choose from. I had the bondiolo sandwich which had seitan, “ham”, and a tofu egg. It was very good. I had a slice of carrot cake that was layered with lemon cheesecake for dessert and loved it.

Locally owner delicious vegan eats - Edit
I went to hear think it was a loving hut I was pleasantly surprised to find out it’s now locally owned. Even better. The food was incredible I came back for dinner the same day. Whatever you do if you get a sandwich make sure to ask for the spicy creamy like spicy sauce. it was straight fire on everything. Fully vegan menu with a fully vegan staff.

El lugar es bien central así que paseando por el centro salva mucho. Se demoran poco pero la comida no fue nada espectacular. El tofu tenía mucho sabor en la corteza pero adentro nada, el resto de las hamburguesas estaban bien pero como dije nada del otro mundo. El servicio no era muy amable.

Awful hard rock music, poor lighting, food taste, and presentation is terrible. I eat vegan all over the world, and vegan food can taste amazing. But this is not one of them. The desert was also very dry and impossible to eat.
