I had the vegan tofu salmon, which was excellent! Presentation, but also taste and portion size, a combination you don't always find together, was on point! Nice staff as well, no problem to get a table for one in the evening.

I had a Tom Yam soup, which had a lovely lemongrass flavor, with green beans and tofu. Then I had a pistachio pesto pasta which was decadent and so creamy. I loved the sun-dried tomatoes, which added some sweet and tart. Lovely restaurant setting. Lots of English speaking customers when I was there. Quite busy

We had a burger and a burrito, they were good but nothing extraordinary. Was hoping for something a bit less fast food-like. But maybe the other dishes on the menu would cover that! Very positively surprised how many options the menu has, and all vegan. Might come back to try the breakfast😄

Kozy Eats is a very nice and cozy place which is a must-have in Riga! The meals are delicious especially the cakes! Kozy Eats has food for everyone. The staff is very friendly. I'd say Kozy Eats is the best vegan kitchen in Riga! Kozy Eats described in one word: Perfect!

I ate here twice while my trip in Riga. For the first time I ate salad from the breakfast menu. Breakfast time was almost chancing to lunch but it was not possible to order that menu. The dish consisted very little of black lentils, vegan cheese and tomatoes with salad. It was not worth of the prize.

So if you want to get properly eaten order something else than salads.

I tried a couple items—the tofu salmon and the black lentil croquette dish. I really liked the lentil dish. Sit outside if you can manage. The interior is a little more buttoned up, it doesn’t give off that youthful vibe of other veg restaurants, plus can be a little stuff indoors if the weather is warm.

We ordered 5 dishes (beyond meat burger, black lentils with asparagus, salad with strawberries and other berries, glazed cauliflower and carpaccio).
Read moreWe really enjoyed most of the dishes, however we did not like the salad, we thought it was a bit too sweet for our taste.
We highly recommend trying the carpaccio, it really caught us off guard with how good it was, the burger was amazing, the sauce was really nice.
Overall this place is worth visiting and we would come here again!!!

Cozy atmosphere and good food. Many delicious options. We had the burger which was good, but kinda basic. I regret not tasting something more special they had on the menu. The “snickers” dessert was crazy good.

Riga does Vegan Food - Edit
This is my first time in Latvia. I finished up a city walking tour which was good and I was hungry so using happy cow I found this vegan restaurant.
Read moreI was able to sit right away and was brought out a menu. There were outlets near my seat so I also got to charge my phone and that was a huge benefit to me because the day had worn out my battery.
I looked over the extensive menu and picked one thing I knew I would like, the cauliflower starter. And one thing I had never tried before, tofu "salmon".
To drink I got an iced matcha latte and it comes with oat milk only. It was delicious!
The cauliflower was the perfect type of fried. It had a crunchy outside, but the inside was soft as cooked cauliflower is, but not too soft where it seems soggy. The glaze had a really good flavor that was savory and maybe a little bit sweet.
The tofu salmon was surprisingly tasty! It was out of my comfort zone and I'm glad I tried it. The texture was really nice and the color was just like salmon. It came served on top of a parsnip sauce that I thought paired really well with the meal. It adds that little sweetness that parsnips and carrots have. The rest of the vegetables on the side of the plate were the perfect amount and the tomatoes were my favorite because they had been grilled to perfection.
I would definitely recommend this place and pick something you normally wouldn't get because I think it would be a nice surprise!
