Yo regresé tres veces. Realmente me gustaron los enchiladas con salsa verde y con pipían verde. Su salsa verde es deliciosa. No me gusto el hot dog. Hay verduras como zanahorias, papas, y chícharos. No hay ningún tipo de salsa.

When we went there I thought everyday is buffet but they told me only at the weekend. Nevertheless, it looked really good and we wanted to try. The menue is quite large and it's not easy to choose. However, they are not only vegan but they offer vegetarian choices as well. They also have a daily, weekly changing menue.

For this week you could choose out of two starters (for example for Monday coleslaw or fruit salad, first one is not vegan), you get the daily soup and your choice two mains or parts of the mains out of tree and you also get a fresh juice for 119 pesos. It is around 6 dollars. Everything was really good and the service was quite efficient. We only waited around 5 minutes or even less.
I had the not vegan coleslaw, eggplan and peppers. The chickpeas soup was tasty and i actually never had a soup with so many chickpeas, they are really not cheap on ingredients. The eggplants were so so delicious. The sauce was creamy and filling without being to greasy. You could also add a dessert for 20 pesos but I was too full.
I would go there over and over again. You can eat cheaper and better and its a great option if you don't want to eat any more tacos.

The food was good and they had a really big menu but i think if they reduced the amount of dishes they serve they could concentrate on improving the quality/taste a little bit because it does taste a little boring.

Vegan food in downtown Puebla - Edit
Went here twice during our stay in Puebla. The menu clearly marks which dishes are vegan. However be aware that a spread that they serve with the complimentary bread is not vegan. Also the waitress said that they could not make their Chile Nogado vegan. Their enchilades with different kinds of moles are simply delicious, we also tried a nopal (cactus) dish here and it did not disappoint. Very friendly staff in a huge building. Must go if you are in downtown Puebla!

Menu has various vegan sections so it's easy to be sure of what you're ordering. Good vegan mole enchiladas filled with either tofu or soy crumbles. Fixed daily menu is a mixture of vegetarian and vegan. But you can ask the server to tick off which dishes are vegan. They also make a vegan Chile Nogada, if you want to try Puebla's signature dish.

Was really in the mood for a burger and had looked this place up but was extremely let down. My falafel burger was very dry and in more of a lunch roll than burger bun. Also got enchiladas which I think were overpriced. You can get a buffet option here but after looking what was offer I would not recommend. Staff who took my order was very friendly but lady at front part not so much, did not tell us we had to go out back to order until we tried to order with her

I like the variety of options they have in their menu, the food is very affordable, its true the lady at the fast food side should be more caring when it comes to customers, some people arrived and sat down, 15 minutes later they asked her if someone would take their order and she just told them they needed to go to the other side. She could have told them since then beginning.

The place was confusing as you had to order and pay in the back of the place and the staff were unfriendly. The coffee was cold, the juice warm and the food didn’t taste like much. They did have a lot of options though and the price was fair.

No me quedó claro si yo me tenía que sentar o pedir mi comida en la caja. Le pregunté a la señora, pero como había mucho ruido, no escuché. Le dije que no escuché y me acerqué. Cada vez que me contestaba (le dije varias veces que no escuchaba) me daba la espalda. Salí sin pedir nada. Ni dijeron nada cuando entré.

El sabor de la comida está bien, pero no es lo mejor ni lo más saludable. El servicio es lento y los platillos estaban fríos cuando los sirvieron. Por otra parte, las empleadas tenían mala actitud, ya que al cuestionarles sobre ciertas dudas con los ingredientes de los alimentos respondían de mala forma. Es una alternativa para personas vegetarianas, con pocas opciones veganas. No cuentan con postres veganos. Posee una pequeña tienda con productos vegetarianos a la venta.

Huge vegetarian restaurant - Edit
La Zanahoria is a huge place with several rooms/patios. They offer both a buffet or a extensive selection to order from their menu. We went there to have breakfast. I had the Tacos with carnitas and peppers – which was with tofu and meatlike pieces. I enjoyed it. I could see from the menu that most of their dishes are only vegetarian, but as they have so many choices there’s still plenty for us vegans, not only for breakfast but the whole day.

Had a great time at this restaurant. The staff was very nice and helpful and explained what was vegan what wasn’t. They even double checked for the bread rolls instead of just guessing. The food tasted good. I’d eat here again.

Even though the staff didn't seem very welcoming when I entered, and I pretty much had to figure out how it works by myself, I didn't care when I got to eating the food. It was really good. The salad bar has all kinds of original salads and I enjoyed the stuffed pepper and carrot burgers. I wish I could eat more, but it was decent so I was full after a (big) plate.

This busy restaurant is conveniently near the Zocalo. The food was fine. We ate from the buffet, the waitstaff was very helpful in telling us what was vegan. There was a wide variety to choose from.
