Wonderful place with amazing combinations. Everything delicious, we couldn’t stop eating so we don’t have any pictures 😋. So why not five stars? I really like it when you can sit and the staff comes to me to take my order. Here you have to order first and pay and take it to your table.

Many fresh and healthy vegan dishes to choose from and gluten free options available. I like more spicy food so for me this one was too bland (We ordered and tasted 5 different meals). But place is cozy and easy and fast place to get nutrious vegan food.

I really liked the decoration in this place. Service was friendly and extreme fast.

The rolls were a big disappointment: very dry and not so much taste.
The bowl was good, just warm enough so that you could taste all the flavours.
The dessert was great: very big cookie, little bit soft and some extra chocolate to make it extra tasty.

You go in and order at the counter, then take your tray and sit somewhere. I ordered the menu which consisted of soup (or you could take salad) and half a bowl. I got the Tibetan mamma bowl. I couldn’t quite tell what flavour the soup was but it was warm and nice enough. The sauce on the bowl was nice but I wouldn’t say the whole thing was amazing. I also had a juice of carrot, turmeric and grapefruit. The turmeric was far too heavy and €5.50 for a juice seemed a bit expensive to me. It was convenient and it wasn’t terrible but I wouldn’t rush back. All seems a bit pricey for a tray and carry it to your table place.

The food was amazing, as well as the restaurants "pharmacy" concept. The staff was very lovely. We were lucky to get seated as we didn't have a reservation, so make sure to call ahead. We had the Pasta Bolo, the Vegetable Tajine and the Quinoa Peanut Butter Cookie. Definitely recommend all of them!!!

We came hungry to Le Botaniste in mid September. Took a selection of 3 bowls to try out. Unfortunately none was really good. Sushi roll was simply bad - for anybody who eats vegan sushi on a regular basis. The best were bottled kombuchas, but this will not add credibility to the place. Service was friendly to be fair.

Cozy and delicious vegan Cafe - Edit
We went here on a rainy Saturday afternoon and it was super nice. Delicious, fresh food in organic quality. Good portion sizes and good coffee too. Everything is plant based, which is a big advantage! I would recommend to visit le Botaniste when you are in Gent.

Vegetables are plenty, friendly staff, incredibly easy to find something tasty and nutritious. Like most food I had in Belgium, flavors were not strong. I get it, it's a cultural thing. BUT unlike most places I had food in Belgium, there were actual vegetables on my plate and not just potatoes. I enjoyed my bowl here a lot.
