Perfect Italian food, I had the asparagus pasta and the cheese board and was not disappointed. Both really were very cheese and homemade pasta was well cooked and not too heavy.

We had the cheese platter to start (OMG, super nice) and then pizza. The pizza was so good it did not cheese or cheese alternatives. This is how a vegan pizza place should be! Absolutely recommended!

The Italian Pizzeria in CPH - Edit
By far the best Italian restaurant in Copenhagen! I have lived in Italy for more than 20 years and I have tried all different types of Italian food all around Italy and the rest of the world. Eva (the owner and chef) bakes a traditional Roman style pizza, along with other Italian dishes. Her pizza is not just the best Roman pizza outside of Italy, it is one of the best Roman pizzas I have ever had the chance to taste (and I am from Rome). She is both aware of the tradition and at the same time courageous to experiment with new ingredients and combinations. I love the atmosphere of the little restaurant and the friendliness of Eva. I can’t recommend this place enough!

I tried some pizza and the cheese board. The pizza slices were super delicious. The cheese board was good too, but the pieces were cut super small. Ridiculously small pieces of cheese, especially when you counter in the fact that it was really expensive. Not sure if it was worth the price.

We had the gnocchi and the pasta carbonara. Good taste, really good Parmesan (but there wasn’t a lot of it unfortunately), but the food was not nearly good enough to justify the price. Also, the portions were fairly small, we left still a little hungry.

Get ready for an amazing Italian vegan feast - Edit
Madenitaly is one of my absolute favourite spots in Copenhagen, one that I keep returning to as often as my bank account allows. There are around ten different pizzas to choose from, so I suggest sharing a whole bunch of half slices between friends (2 half slices/four quarter slices make a decent starter) so you can try as many of them as possible. If you're not in the mood for pizza, the vegan cheese plate is absolutely delicious.

If there's room, you really can't go wrong with their desserts either, the tiramisu being a perfect way to finish up a meal here. What it lacks in size it makes up for in flavour.
Remember to reserve a table, because it does get very busy.

No surprise this restaurant is top-rated! I had a chance to dine in Madenitaly during my visit to Copenhagen, and sure my belly was very happy after a delicious tagliatelle portion. However, it was hard to choose from the menu - such variety is offered and everything is tempting! The staff was very friendly and attentive, the service was quicker than I expected. The place is not too big, which makes it especially cosy. I definitely recommend Italian cuisine lovers, whether vegans or no, to pay a visit to this place for a great experience. (I can also recommend the pizzas - the topping selection is very unique!)

During my 10 years vegan life i tried many vegan restaurants with bowls, raw food, salads, gourmet dishes but as Italian and vegan for me this is the best one in Copenhagen, and also the best I ever eaten.

The staff are very friendly and there’s certainly more options for a normal Italian but I felt it was more on the expensive side for what it is compared to the rest of CPH. The pasta dishes are a bit too strong in flavour and the pizza a bit underwhelming in flavour.
