I am an afficionado of vegan pastry, and this place is #1 in my book. I knew I had to try their pain au chocolat after reading about them in El País--online I saw they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays so I made a Sunday pilgrimage hiking 3 kilometers each way to grab some of the most amazing pastries I have ever had. The pain au chocolat, croissant pecanas, and pain suisse are PHENOMENAL! I would have bought more had I known how amazing this bakery is, and I can't wait for my next trip to Barcelona to try everything else!

We went for breakfast and even took a couple pastries home as well. They are a bit expensive with really worth it as a treat. They also do savory breakfast like tofu scramble toast and a sandwich, and the coffee was good. Very nice staff as well.
The pistacho cream croissant is a stand out imo!!

Every item was better than the last, the sheer creativity, mastery and proficiency was admirable.
