Impressive hospitality - Edit
We were blown away by the kindness of the guy that works there. He was encouraging us all the time to fill more stuff in the bowl. He even gave us extra fries and falafels. It was a really nice experience. And the food was great!

Very good falafel - Edit
My favorite thing about this place is that it has an open salad bar with delicious options and you can fill your falafel up as many times as you want from it, the downside to this is that salads you assume that are vegan can easily be contaminated by non-vegan salads. Also, people use the salad utensils to put salad on their falafel(obviously) so most probably you come in contact with the oral productions of other people. :)
Read moreAnother downside is that the place is pretty small.
The staff was very nice and the food was delicious, I recommend it.
Pros: Very nice staff, Acceptable prices, Delicious food and big portion
Cons: Small place

A veggie heaven to take away - Edit
This Maoz is located not far from La Rambla. I really liked the food, which is quite the same from a Maoz location to another. I took the eggplant and hummus supplement in my sandwich, and that was great! The veggie topping were varied and good. The staff is relatively efficient since the restaurant is often crowded. Quite only to take away since it is very small inside.

Na ja... - Edit
Nicht sehr gemütlich, da klein, kaum Platz & Sitzgelegenheit. Hummus, welcher im Pitabrot zu den Falafel gereicht wurde, war bitter im Nachgeschmack. Falafel waren aber super lecker...

Always a good place to get falafel - Edit
I like to get my falafel there, the quality is always good, price is ok for Barcelona, and the vegetables to fill the falafel with are mostly nice. It is small and crowded, which also means sometimes a bit dirty (specially due to the fact that everyone fills their falafel up with the free ingredients available, and then things keep falling down on the floor). Staff is changing and so is their attitude - sometimes very nice and friendly, sometimes exactly the opposite. As it is a place to grab your food and leave, cause there is usually no space to stay anyway, it doesn t matter either way.

Delicious! - Edit
Great value meal deal - a filled pita with your choice of toppings from the salad bar, very tasty fries and a drink for under 10 euros. Very centrally located in a side street off La Rambla, the portions are generous and the food is fresh and yummy. Highly recommended for a cheap but good lunch.

Maoz falafel were perfect. Price was good for a budget. The salad bar where you could return and add toppings had a variety of veggies and sauces. Staff were super friendly. Only con is it's very small and can get very packed. Also they have a bathroom!

the best falafels! - Edit
Amazing spot, choose from falafel pita on wholemeal or white or a falafel salad. Comes with a choice of humous and lettuce, then take your pita/salad and stuff from salad bar including chickpeas, onions, carrots, olive dressing. Alone costs around €5 or add fresh cut fries and drink for €8. So delicious. If vegan avoid the slaw and white sauces as stated below

Good reliable felafel! - Edit
They have these in loads of cities around Europe.

Lots of options.. Stay away from the white sauces as they won't be vegan of course. That's pretty obvious!

What more could you want that a hummus falafel pitta with all you can eat salad. For a food chain, this is a great and healthy vegan option.

amazing! - Edit
I stumbled across this place after trying another vegan deli which was closed. It was a true find. The pitta bread falafel salad was delicious. I stuffed mine so full of things from the deli it kept me full all day and was so good! The best vegan take out I've ever had. Also very reasonably priced.

Perfect Falafel Bar - Edit
The falafel are the best we have ever eaten and come with delicious, soft pita bread which they fill with hummus and salad for you. You then get to help yourself to toppings such as onions, tomatoes, chickpea salad, chillis etc etc (only one non vegan topping) and all but three sauces are vegan. The chips they do are soooo good, lovely and crispy.
Read moreThey have a great meal deal of a pita & falafel, chips and a drink for a good price (cant remember how much, about 7.50 euros I think).
As others have said, this place gets BUSY and even if you do manage to get a seat its not the most comfortable as its quite cramped. When its quiet its perfect here.
We returned a number of times as its such good value and delicious.
Pros: Great falafel, Self service salad bar
Cons: Not 100% vegan, Not a lot of seating room

I have been there once, and I absolutely adore it since I'm a big fan of falafel. The prices are adequate, and I love the fact that you have a buffet of "toppings", that you can repeat unlimitedly. The fries are also very good and the staff nice. It also has a great location, just close of las ramblas! If you want something quick, delicious and cheap this is the place to go :)

In general, I think this is the cheapest vegan food in Barcelona. The pita falafel was very good, we also used a lot of toppings from the salad bar. Very filling.
