good food with affordable price - Edit
this is a small restaurant (two tables only) with good and cheap food. you can try different Korean traditional food here. it didn't take so long for the food to be ready. it took us around 10 minutes to get the first meals of each person and 20 minutes for the second one.

Best California Roll Ever - Edit
Absolute best vegan sushi I’ve ever had. A bit spicy and very strong flavor. 10/10, just a little long on the wait but well worth.😄

New management: still learning - Edit
Ordered dhukbokgi and dhukguk, which ought to take 5 mins max to have out on a table. We waited over half an hour. We got to chatting with a Swiss tourist couple while waiting, and they waited closer to an hour for four simple dishes.
Read more- The food is still mostly good, but avoid anytime there might be any hint of a rush.
- Update: My Korean friend said the dhukbokgi had no flavor, and is "just spicy."

very delicious with long waiting time - Edit
The menu has different Korean meals with very good prices. We had three different dishes and every single one was so delicious. Only 4 stars because we had to wait one hour AFTER ordering.

Good food, long waiting lines - Edit
Waited over 20mins just to place an order, there's only a small kitchen with few staff members. Took another 20-30 to receive thr food, didn't get served together which wad rather unfortunate.
Read moreHowever the Gimbap & Udong were absolutely delicious and super cheap! Do not recommend the Ramen though as they're mist likely just store-bought instant noodles. Still - worth a visit!
Pros: Cheap , Delicious, Friendly staff, english speaking

Cheap, but ultimately not worth the long wait - Edit
It took one hour from the time I got there until I received my food. Some other guests who arrived at approximately the same time had to wait for even longer, because the kitchen was so disorganized that they kept on forgetting about orders.
Read moreI would avoid ordering ramen (it’s just instant ramen, the kind you can get in convenience stores) and dumplings (they serve store bought frozen dumplings).

Food came quickly, price was good, food was good, staff were nice. We ordered a teokkboki and ham kimbap. The restaurant is in a nice secluded place where not many people pass by, which was also good.

Delicious traditional Korean food - Edit
We ate here on our first full day in Korea on July 6, 2022 and it was perfect. There were five of us and the chef made our meals quickly and we all loved our choices. We had kimbap, dumplings, and bbq “chicken” and everything was wonderful. We sat at the two tables just in front of their window and took a break from the heat and humidity before shopping in Insadong. Thank you, Maru!!

Only good if not in a hurry - Edit
As the other users described the food is vegan and good but we have to give only two stars due to the extremely long waiting time. There was only one staff member and she was very slow. She also randomly prepared food instead of finishing one order after the other. So people who ordered after us sometimes got it first. Now and then shes stopped preparing any food altogether and did some dishwashing. In the end we waited nearly an hour for one portion of dumplings and kimbap and another half an hour for one quesadilla. Most of the things were just warmed up in the microwave anyways. It was clear that the staff was not in a hurry whatsoever. Sorry but that is unacceptable…

Favorite Place in Seoul! - Edit
This place is my absolute favorite! The variety of Korean dishes is amazing and every dish on the menu tastes sooo good! The owners are very lovely and I really like the streetfood-style atmosphere. I couldn’t decide what’s the best dish on the menu: Spicy Chicken, Tteokbokki, Gimbap, the fresh Mixing Cold Buckwheat Noodles.. all of them are so perfect in taste! You either have to come here more often or with a larger group to share the different dishes ;-). This is really a must when you are in Seoul! You won’t get disappointed!

Cheapest but best vegan food in Korea - Edit
Soo glad we accidentally stumbled across this place on our trip to seoul. The food is the cheapest I’ve found, yet the best I had. I tried the fried chicken for 5000 and the ham Gimbap for 3000. Both were delicious. I would’ve eaten here every day if it wasn’t so far from our accommodation.

All the favourite Korean classic street food served VEGAN - Edit
I have just joined Happy Cow to recommend this place. As a Korean who loves all the Korean street food, this is the best non fuss place for lunch which does not compromise on taste, I was so amazed. The owner even explained that the side dish of yellow pickled radish (Tanmuji in Korean) is not strictly vegan due to the colouring in most cases so they make their own. I had Kimbap, Udon and Ttokboki. I will be going back every time I am in the area.

Affordable authentic street snacks! - Edit
Small place with a simple menu but nothing short of amazing!!! We ordered udon, ramen, soy ham kimbap, fish cake and soy chicken. All were good but surprisingly we enjoyed the ramen the most. It isn’t easy to find veg ramen in korea but the ramen here still managed to edge over all other veg ramens that we have tried. Please try out Maru for affordable food in Seoul!
