Excellent

I had the aubergine and pepper terrine and my friend had the calzone. I considered mine the best thing I'd eaten in Tel-Aviv. He loved his too. Staff were very attentive and where we sat outside was super cute.

Amazing food

Amazing food and friendly staff who speak great English. We tried the sprout salad and there cheeses (best vegan cheese ever), seitan pizza and pumpkin steak, pear pie (the crust was divine) and cocoa flake. I definitely want to go back!!!

Great vegan food

I had the Sprouted Salad and Lasagna. Both fantastic!

I sat outside, and had an herbal tea to start -- also really nice.

I'd like to come back and try more items on their menu.

This place is pricey. But worth the splurge.

Pros: fantastic vegan food

Cons: pricey, but way worth it

Great Indian evening

We just had an amazing evening. They had an Indian all you can eat evening with a lot of Indian dishes. It was not a buffet but you could order refills if you liked for a fixed price (we did not manage to eat refills;) )
Everything was really good and I wish I had been more hungry tonight!

Pros: Great food, Nice atmosphere , Friendly staff

Amazing brunch

Very cute place, with indoor and outdoor sitting. It is recommended to make a reservation if you plan to go there for weekend breakfast.

Their Royal Couple Brunch is to die for. So much excellent food with four drinks and even dessert included! The Tivonina comes with three great cheeses, a really tasty focaccia, and a small salad - and is also really filling even if it doesn't sound like it.

They also offer a wide variety of smoothies and juices, which are fresh and really tasty.

Make sure to check out their store before you leave the area and take some of the amazing food home!

Pros: Excellent food, Good value, Friendly staff

Beautiful place

We shared the cheese platter with foccacia as a starter, which was to die for! Especially the dill "cheese" was just amazing. My boyfriend had the pumpkin steak and I had the burger. The steak was the better option, but the curry sauce could have been omitted. The burger was not the best I have ever had, but completely ok.

I had the apple scotch, which I would recommend. Overall a lovely place with good food and nice staff.

Pros: Nice venue, Very good cheese platter, Nice staff

Cons: Burger needs improvement

A very good vegetarian restaurant

Meshek Barzilay is located in one of the cutest neighbourhoods of Tel Aviv, Neve Tzedek.
I really love the food here, especially, the Asian dishes: Masala Dosa and Asian Noodles are my favourite.
This is a great place to bring your non-vegan/non-vegetarian friends, as there is something delicious for everyone and the interior is very nice.
NB: There is a Business Lunch served Sunday to Thursday [12pm - 5pm], which is great value for money.

We loved it!!

We visited Israel for the march for animals rights.
The lovely Tel Aviv ambassador advised us to go there and so we did. We LOVED the pizza and we liked a lot the alioli nioki!
Our friends didn't really like the burger but they liked the calzone.

Pros: Variety, Breakfast menu

Cons: A bit slow service

We especially liked the Indian dishes

The place is beautiful, the service is good. We like spicy food and liked the Indian dishes - Masala Dossa and Panjabi Eggplants.
The Melon frozen Margarita is great and not expensive.

Pros: Indian dishes, Atmosphere, Service

Cons: Vegan Feta cheese not amazing

Nice, hearty food

Nice cafeteria with a good selection of vegan breakfasts. Food is hearty and nutritious. I tried the organic farm breakfast (very big!) and the shakshouka which tofu, which I particularly liked. Wholemeal bread is soft and nice, served warm and is really delicious.

Pros: hearty food, big portions

Meh....

I am not sure what the fuss is about here, and I enjoyed much better food overall in Israel. The place is really quite lovely, and the service was good, but other than that, I would not return. I had a vegan shakshouka that was really watery and not all that tasty. Tiny portion too. The bread was the only thing worth staying for. Possibly the best bread I had in Israel - which is saying something. My mother had pancakes which were just OK, nothing special. Not a great meal.

Cons: Pricey given the portion size

Awesome variety

We took out daughter here instead of Zakaim which was so recommended because she liked the menu more. I think that was a good decision. We started w a delicious salad of cauliflower with greens, raisins, nuts and chickpeas--it was great. Entrees were a nice seitan pizza, very good but smaller than described. Indian thali was lots of food and very tasty but actually could've been more seasoned. And a veggie lasagne that was delish. The desserts sounded good but just weren't anything we felt like having, so we got cake elsewhere. I know people rave about some chocolate cake here? We didn't see it on the menu. I'd like to give them 4.5 cows.

Pros: Great variety of choices, Very nice servers

Super tasty

I went there to eat a vegan Shakshouka which was lovely and served with a portion of bread and tahini. I had a great juice ( Detox) and there were so many more options on the plate that I wanted to try...
So I chose a vegan pecan cake with coconut sorbet. Delicious.
The place and the atmosphere is beautiful, sunny and cosy, the staff is very helpful and sweet.
Great place!

excellent all-vegan restaurant

This is not only all-vegan, it is one of only a few restaurants that is open on Saturday.

There was a large selection of very healthy and tasty items. The also have smoothies which are not the same a s smoothies in the US. These were room temperature blender drinks of fresh vegetables or fruits.

The items we tried were excellent. The only recommendation would be to use less salt in the rice-saitan mixture.

We highly recommend this and will go back there if we have time.

Pros: all vegan, very healthy and excellent taste

Cons: very hard to find., we had to ask several whete it is, a bit too muh salt
