Amazing food but unreliable - Edit
Positives first: the food was amazing! This was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. However we tried to eat here three times. We went about 8:45 the first night but they told us they'd stopped serving food. We tried again the next night but it was a band night and they weren't serving food. One the third day when we managed to get a table, we ordered our food, waited an hour and the waiter told us he'd given our food to another table by accident. So we had to wait even longer before we finally got our food.

Great Vegan bistro - Edit
Loved eating here, unfortunately due to delivery issues (same across Glasgow) they were short of many items on the menu tha we wanted. However we had a really nice meal and the atmosphere was great. Definite one for next time I’m in Glasgow.

Quick bite to eat - Edit
Popped in after picking a few things up in town for a quick bite to eat. Staff were friendly and quick, ordered two hot dogs one classic and other brisket cheese, came quickly and served with chips too. Chips and both hot dogs were an absolute treat and such a bargain just what we needed as a snack! Definitely be back and would recommend even to non vegans.

Good food and good prices. - Edit
I had some tea, kotlet schabowy and mac and cheese and all was great. The portions were big and the food was tasty and seasoned well. Kotlet schabowy didn't taste at all like kotlet schabowy but was still very good. The staff was very friendly and would go again😄

A bit expensive, can see why though - Edit
Cute bunting and a record shop inside and big kegs on the wall!! My hot dog was a bit dry but the chips were really nice. The mac and cheese honestly made me doubt myself it was so realistic. Staff were really nice and didnr badger you too much which is super nice to find!!

My first vegan restaurant - Edit
If all vegan resturants are like this I'm in for a real treat. I had the To-Fish, which was enough to fill several people. Then the hot fudge sunday was simply devine. All better than the "real thing" in my humble opinion. Also, they had a lovely selection of bottled beers; I'd recommend Well Bred Red.

Amazing. - Edit
Tried Mono for the first time today and me and my boyfriend both agreed it was the best vegan restaurant we’d ever tried! We went for Mac and cheese, to-fish and chips and also shared the Cubano sub... all of it was so delicious. Staff were friendly and vibe was great. Plus we bought two awesome vinyls from the vinyl store inside😄

Great food, iffy service - Edit
I like the food here, but the menu does feel quite small. There are usually great specials and prices are reasonable. Lower rating for the staff. Slow service and they feel quite dismissive. There are a few staff members who are lovely but on the whole not great.

Vegan's Heaven - Edit
Although I was not impressed by the first sight at the inside... decoration - a place is absolutely lovely. Friendly staff, lovely music, great people around, making the atmosphere nice and cosy... And above all - FOOD. I was absolutely amazed by the Seitan Chargrilled Burger, while my boyfriend had some kind of oriental coconut soup (forgot the name). It was one of the best meals I have ever eaten in my life. Menu is clear and adjusted to your level of hunger. It offers a mix of flavors and cuisines, also when it comes to beverages (they won our hearts not only with cider, but Czech beer ;). Highly recommended!

They have a great variety of dishes, including sandwiches, pizzas, mac & cheese and vegan fish and chips. We tried the cubanito and the mac and cheese, and loved both of them.

Awesome gluten-free, vegan options - Edit
Huge menu, all vegan. Open late!
Read moreHummus appetizer was good, just basic hummus. GF option was oat crackers, which were nice. Came with a side salad.
Jerk Jackfruit Burrito - GF option comes as a salad. Spicy & delicious.
Raw cocolate/avocado cheesecake - perfect. Try adding raspberry ice cream!
My friend (who is not veg & not GF) got the mini mac n cheese, which she said was good. It IS vegan but is NOT gluten-free.
Waitress Heather was great!!! Friendly & answered endless questions.
Pros: Gluten-free options, Vegan desserts, Reasonable prices
Cons: No GF bread for sandwiches, No GF wraps for burritos

Always a laugh - Edit
Come for the food, stay for the appalling service. (Or walk out like the neighbouring table did.) Not sure what the underlying problem(s) is/are but the results are lack of attention, lack of courtesy and a feeling that you should be grateful you’re being served. Occasionally return here in the hope that it’s improved but still awaiting that happy day.

Sticky tables and disgusting toilets. - Edit
I have visited Mono several times but have never had what could be described as a wonderful meal. I only ever go because of the lack of competition. Fortunately this is now changing. Unfortunately Happy Cow will not allow me to give Mono one star (or less) purely because it's vegan.

best vegan junk food - Edit
I LOVE mono! One of the first vegan places I tried when I went vegan a year ago and still a favourite. If you are craving junk food this is the place to go. Menu has recently changed and nice to see a few healthier options too. The gado gado salad is amazing! My partner loves the seitan burger. Staff are always really friendly and I love the chilled vibe.

I love this place, it has a really nice, relaxed atmosphere with spacious seating. The food was delicious, I had the schnitzel on gnocchi and my boyf had a burger, both were amazing. There is a nice selection of ‘junk’ food, i.e burgers and hotdogs plus some healthier options

A great and reliable vegan restaurant. The fact that they cater to the desire for a fish shop style menu is brilliant. The tofish is particularly good.
