Real Vegan Food - Edit
They have a great variety of vegan food, a friendly touch, and large portions. Not award winning food but real food and a place I keep coming back to because I get tired of the more common vegan junk food places.
Read moreThey also have a small bakery area with cakes too.

One of the Original Austin Go-Tos - Edit
We have been going here for decades and have never been disappointed. The lunch special has an excellent choice of options and is super quick. It’s so good so we rarely order off the menu, but a coworker gets the taco salad every time he goes, which is often. Also an excellent GF bakery, including special order cakes.

Not bad - Edit
The milanesa plate was good. It came with side salad, mexica rice, refried beans, and corn tortillas. The seitan milanesa was thin, crispy, and filled with flavor.

Phenomenal Tex Mex "Diner" vibes - Edit
Loooved the food that I ordered.
Read moreI had the fish taco, and the seitan milanesa, both were so delicious! The texture of the seitan on the fish taco was spot on, and the flavor was *chef's kiss*.
The Milanesa was delicious as well! It had a "fatty" sense to it due to how juicy the seitan was in each bite.

One of the Best - Edit
This place is amazing, one of our favorite spots in Austin for good reasons! My favorite things here are the burgers (their house made patty is super unique and delicious!), the Milanese (theirs is one of my favorite dishes EVER), and fish tacos (YUM).

Great food - Edit
Love the food and the prices here. The potato flautas and seitan nuggets are absolutely delicious, as are the banana pancakes on their brunch menu. I love the donuts as well and look forward to trying the soft serve sometime. Everyone raves about their cakes, which are ok, but honestly remind me of grocery store cake. They’re fine but not my favorite compared to the other baked goods they offer. Otherwise, loved everything I’ve had here!

My Sweet Tooth is Happy - Edit
I love the concept of vegan bakeries, although this is not an exclusively vegan bakery so do be aware of what you are ordering if you maintain specific food preferences. They also offer a variety of vegan, gluten free options. I tried one of their vegan sliced breads (similar to a coffee cake) and it was delicious. I will be back!

Cons: Not everything is directly labeled (Vegan, Veg), Online ordering is not very specific

Best bakery - Edit
Mr. Natty is the most underrated bakery. Their food is good too but I think they don’t get mentioned enough when people are listing the best vegan bakeries in town. They have the widest selection and don’t sleep on their cakes.

Best Place in Town - Edit
I have been coming to Mr. Natural since I was a kid and have only great things to say about this place. This is the only vegetarian Mexican restaurant I’ve been to that is healthy and tastes great. Their daily lunch special is delicious with so many options to choose from, and their vegan brunch every first Sunday of the month is to die for! I also recommend their energizer fruit salad, the burger boss, and any of their aguas frescas. Check out their vitamins and health food store next door. Healthy and tasty food, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great location - what more could you need?

I stumbled upon this place during a walk and had to check it out. I got the spinach and mushroom enchilada with roja sauce. I found the sauce to be a little bland but the overall meal was delicious. It had a very family oriented feel.

1st Sunday of the Month Vegan Brunch Buffet will change your li - Edit
On the normal menu I love the vegan queso, fish tacos, and migas tacos. The bakery has many delicious treats too! Around the holidays Mr. Natural makes the best vegan pies ever. I live for the 1st Sunday of the month vegan brunch buffet though! The theme changes every month. They added a Fri/Sat brunch menu recently and the chicken and biscuits are delicious!

Delicious and authentic - Edit
Super tasty Mexican food. We had the lunch plate (served cafeteria style). I had the chick’n in mole as my main, the mole was very authentic and yummy. Also had a guava juice which was nice and not-too-sweet. Lots of vegan options, I’d say more things were vegan than not. My only critique would be that they should just go all the way vegan! Got a vegan cone pastry to go, was so good and really hard to believe vegan. Will be back!

Choices Choices Choices - Edit
There are so many things I love about Mr. Natural! The variety is a big one. I always have so much trouble deciding what to choose!! The non-dairy soft serve is another.....a nostalgic treat that is hard to find nowadays without dairy, that isn't super overpriced.
Read moreThey have a great lunch option weekdays 11-4pm: for a set price you get salad, choice of entree (usually 3 to choose from), and choice of 2 sides ( usually 6-8 choices). On the first Sunday of every month (at this location only-Cesar Chavez location), they have an all-you-can-eat vegan brunch buffet that is a MUST to experience---theme/choices change every month (they usually announce on their Facebook what the menu will be) and I've yet to leave one not happy! Their breakfast tacos are yummy and inexpensive, and their bakery case selection is pretty impressive. It's hard to leave unhappy with so much variety, there is something for everyone!
Pros: So much to choose from, great lunch option, delicious bakery treats!

Tacos, empanadas, daiyaquiles, milanesa, cake - Edit
Love Mr Natural. Usually here at least once (or twice) a week. Great for morning breakfasts (open at 8, build your own breakfast taco, tofu scramble and potato, potato and avo, refried bean and vegan cheese, daiyaquiles, migas, vegan breakfast burrito, all so good). Good coffee. Oh and empanadas and donuts too. Huge menu great for non brekkie too (chili cheese fries, milanesa sandwich, fajita burrito, fish wrap, vegan queso, more). Also love their monthly vegan brunch. Oh! And almost forgot! All their cakes are amazing too (we've tried 5 or 6 I think by the slice). Oh! And great for catering (had them cater a birthday!). Oh! And they have a daily lunch buffet and the one time I went it was super good with yummy vegan options.
