We LOVE Paulie Gee's. They have a really great vegan menu with all the cheese and hearty meat that is on a regular pizza because sometimes you don't just want bell peppers and mushrooms. We love their Wednesday/Thursday happy hours special where you get 3 vegan pies for $33! Makes great leftovers too.

I’ve tried all of their vegan options, and all are excellent - but the show stopper is the Vegan Square. Crispy edges, thick crust, the slight pickled flavor of the banana peppers combined with the Italian tomato, basil, garlic and chili oil is pizza perfection!

A very nice place to enjoy dinner and drinks. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful since it was my first visit. They have 4 vegan pizzas or you can basically build your own. I got the vegan supreme and added their made in house vegan sausage. The pizza was AMAZING and their sausage was with out a doubt the best that I have ever had. This place deserves 10 stars.

What a find! Paulie Gee's, located on the North end of The Short North, is a great pizza joint for vegans and nons alike. The lighting was dim and atmosphere was warm.
Read moreThey offer 3 vegan pizzas and also a make your own. We always get the Ricotta De Vegan because the vegan cheese and sausage are great! The arugula makes it green and super fresh.
We each order a pizza for ourselves. It's a little pricy, but a great date spot.
They also have great drinks!

I always enjoy going down to Paulie Gee's as a good pizza is probably the only thing I truly miss from my carnivore days. I almost always get the Vegan Supreme and add their excellent made-in-house vegan "sausage".. (Pro-tip: ask for their pizza sauce on the side to dip the crust in!) My only real complaint is that the service is a bit spotty and their kitchen seems to make mistakes on a regular basis (out of 5 visits, I've taken a free pizza home twice due to them making the pizza incorrectly). They have a decent craft beer menuas well to compliment the pizza. All in all this is a great place to go for a damn good vegan pizza that isn't made vegan just by dropping Daiya on it.

Happy Cow won't let me give a place that's not fully vegetarian 5 stars, or I would have. Seems like kind of a dick move, Happy Cow. I'm hungover on the couch dreaming of this pizza right now. I pine for this pizza like a woman who's husband is at war. If a train was coming at this pizza and my boyfriend, and I only had time to save one, I would save my boyfriend but would definitely like, pause for a second.

I've been here multiple times and their vegan options are sooo yummy. The vegan sausage and the cashew ricotta are to die for. And they are looking to add more vegan options to the menu. They've hosted two vegan events to help spread the word and get feedback on their ideas/options. I cannot say enough good things about this place.
