Disappointed

I been buying their raw vegan avocado cacao sweet tart many times and it’s always amazing. Unfortunately I don’t have good experience other then that. I tried once their Chai Latte, it was really bad. It tasted like plain warm almond milk and nothing else.
I asked what their gluten-free burger buns are made of, as the lady wasn’t sure herself she pulled out the package to check the ingredients. I noticed that it’s the same type of gluten-free bread you can buy from a supermarket, but the really bad quality.
Yesterday decided to try their Buddha bowl with Tofu.
The salad haven’t been rinsed good enough cause when I was about to start eating I found a WORM in the salad. The little food that I did manage to eat, really tasted bad. Not even ok.
More so, the place is not really good for eating inn, it’s better for take away. It’s very small and quiet and it feels awkward to sit inside.

Pros: Doesn’t use plastic bags, bottles or cutlery

Cons: Awkwardly quiet and small place to eat inn, Quality and taste of food is not consistent

Lots of options

I want to like it more than I actually did. The one table was sticky and we had to wait quite a while for any attention to get to order. Food was pretty good though. Wish we had tasted any of the sweets.

Edit: came back again and tasted more things, raw bread and gyros with veggies and had to upgrade from 3 to 4 starts :)

Small friendly busy vegan eatery.

The quinoa chickpea burger and soft pocket style bun with salad was tasty and filling. It was very reasonably priced at €5 each. A great stop for vegan lunch. Eat in or take away.

Exzellent

Exactly what I wanted!

Just such a simple and fulfilling menu, super happy after hanging out in the hammock chairs! Just wish they stayed open longer than 6pm on the weekends so I didn’t miss out on the chocolate cake that looked so good!

Good food

Juices, coffee, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, buddha bowl, breakfast plates, salads. Tofu, seitan, tempeh. Desserts. Some raw and gluten-free items. I had a breakfast plate: toast, sliced avocado, sauteed zucchini and red pepper, four tofu nuggets and mayo. I’m not a fan of the tofu nuggets, but it was a good breakfast. Then a piece of apple tart, which was good and cinnamon-flavoured. Next visit I had the detox juice, which was very good and refreshing. Took away a tempeh wrap. My last day in town, I relaxed with an iced cappuccino - they have glass straws here! - then a fruit juice and a good, warm, smoked-tofu baguette sandwich. WiFi is available, and I appreciated being able to spend time in the café before heading to the airport.

Pros: all vegan, freshly made food

Absolutely delicious vegan food

Absolutely delicious vegan food! We tried the souvlaki pita with mushroom and seitan and it was one of the best vegan sandwiches I've tried! Also the apple scrumble and carrot/coco cake are highly recommendable! They were so friendly and warm with us and we will definitely be coming back when we visit Athens again!

Yummy Gyro

We found this place walking back to our apartment from the Parthenon. I had a Seitan Gyro and it was so good. My mom has the lentil quinoa veggie burger. They were out of buns so she had it in pita but still very good. I was disappointed they were out of French fries when we got there at dinner time but it wasn’t very late at all. I look forward to going back again. They also had a breakfast plate on their board.

Pros: All vegan, Dessert

Cons: Small seating area

Superb vegan food in Athens Greece

Cute, quaint little vegan cafe in the heart of Athens!

Food****
We ordered the Avocado, Seitan, and Quinoa salad and vegan seitan gyro. The food here was absolutely delicious. The Seitan was done just right, so it was crisp and not too chewy. The sauces were flavorful and the meal was very healthy. We particularly enjoyed the Seitan sandwich as it felt akin to what a schwarma gyro would be in typical Greek restaurants, which was nice to get to experience in Vegan form! They also had a great selection of coffee/cappuccinos with almond/soy or oat milk, and some delicious vegan desserts, though we were too stuffed to try any.

Service****
Food is prepared fresh right behind the counter in full view and quickly. They speak English fluently and can answer any questions you have about the menu.

Atmosphere****
Very cute small cafe style restaurant with one large table to sit family style and a small countertop with some seating.

Price $
Everything under 10 euro. Very well priced considering how good the food was!

Pros: Large portion sizes, Inexpensive, All vegan

Simply great!

A very nicely decorated place with super fair prives! I ordered a seitan gyros pita with roasted veggies, fresh leaves, tomatoes and sauce and a mushroom burger, both very tasty! Then I had an incredible chocolate cake topped with seeds that looked as nice as it tasted. With fresh orange juice the late breakfast was complete.

Pros: Great food, Great price, Friendly staff

Cons: None

Delicious food and friendly staff

I was so happy to be able to eat a Greek salad with vegan feta, not to mention other goodies such as sweet and savoury cakes, seitan in pita, delicious platters, dako (a specialty from Creta) fries, turmeric latte, detox juice, wraps, vegan mayo. You can tell that much love and effort is being put into the food.

Pros: Delicious food, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere

Give Peas a Chance

My vegetarian family spent five days in Athens during the summer, and Peas was hands-down our FAVORITE vegan restaurant in all of Athens. They have an extensive menu that includes sandwiches, pitas, wraps, savory tarts, salads, platters and FOUR different types of veggie burgers. We ordered the protein platter (that included seitan, tofu, and tempeh with house salad, pita and a mayo or chili sauce dip) and the seitan gyro wraps made with roasted vegetables, lettuce, tomatoes and sauce. Both were phenomenal. Leave room for dessert - chocolate cake, apple pie, and several raw desserts including lemon and carrot tarts. We had the chocolate cake and raw lemon tart, and both were delicious. It has a hip ambiance with a community dining table and hammock seats and a very friendly staff. If you are vegan or vegetarian and find yourself in Athens, include Peas in your itinerary.

Best seitan wrap I’ve ever had 😍

I cannot fault this at all. The wrap was phenomenal. The atmosphere was friendly. Even the ice tea on offer was great. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Athens. Also received high praise from my omni friend who had the tofu nuggets breakfast plate.

Lunch and great cakes

This place was a welcome respite from making do with side dishes, fries, tomato salad and bread. GREAT Jackfruit burger in a lovely homemade bun. Perfect lunch. If you go here, do NOT repeat do NOT neglect the cakes!! We had one lemon and one carrot/coconut both zinging with flavour, deeply intense, rich (but not oppressively so) and very much relished. Staff kind and relaxed. THANKS PEAS

Pros: Taste and quality, Good on a Budget, The CAKES!

Amazing

I’m so pleased we found Peas! The food was fantastic, the staff are wonderful and it is great value. The homemade seitan was delicious as was the mayo. We also had a lemon tart which was really tasty. They also care for the environment and use glass straws and provide a water refill station. This place is a must visit!
