Just try the tangerine! - Edit
Tangerine "chicken" or "duck" would be my first choice if you've never been here. Also the spicy basil and spicy eggplant are my healthier alternative choices. Most of the menu is vegan.

One of our favorites! - Edit
Very busy, very good, very worthwhile. Almost completely vegan menu. Mock duck is succulent. Love the mock duck larb. Offers vegan Thai ice tea, which is a big plus. Parking is tough on weekends and evenings, and reservations are a big help.

Best vegan thai in town - Edit
Some dishes are hit and miss but what they do well is awesome. Som Tom, Tom Kha, Red and Pumpkin Currys. Drunken Noodle, Tangerine Chicken. The star of this place is the Larb w Mock Duck and the Chicken Satay. Great friendly service too.

Great food - Edit
I ate here with two of my friends, we all enjoyed our meals. The reason for 4 stars is that one friend, who isn’t veg had awful stomach cramps later that night that may have been because of the food and my stomach was a little upset too. We’d eaten there a few times prior and this was the first time thats happened, so I’m not 100% it was the food. Plenty of seating, good for large parties. Waiters are busy so sometimes you have to grab their attention.

Better Vegan Thai Out There - Edit
Don’t understand the hype. The food is in my opinion is not really to fresh. Also the portions were sort of small. The staff was fairly rude and the seating was cramped. I really enjoyed Veganic Thai, very close by, a few days later. They really nailed it and were even cheaper!

The Larb - Edit
This restaurant would be the sole reason why I’d move to San Diego!
Read moreThe larb is my favorite and I could not get enough of it. I always ordered it. The skewers with peanut sauce is another awesome food on their many. I mean all of it is, those are my favorites.
Enjoy!

Fantastic Thai food! - Edit
All veggie, tons of vegan options, and mostly gluten free (they don't use soy sauce). Bonus for using local San Diego Soy Dairy tofu. Our go-to Thai spot in town.

If you find yourself in San Diego craving delicious Thai Food Plumeria is a MUST stop. Their menu is beyond awesome. Basically they are completely vegan I know they add egg to some dishes but only on request for vegetarians or non vegans. As a Vegan I will say Plumeria is by far my favorite restaurant in San Diego. Their food is GREAT!

A merry Christmas dinner - Edit
We went here for Christmas dinner. Of course, the place was packed, but the friendly staff never lost their cool and worked smoothly.
Read moreWe started with the chicken satay, which was fantastic. My husband got the pineapple fried rice with duck, and I got the regular fried rice with chicken. My dish was good, but I wasn’t a big fan of the soggy fake chicken. My husband’s dish, with crispy cashews and crispy fake duck, tasted better to me. I’ll have to get that next time.
Thank you, Plumeria, for being open on Christmas!

SO GOOD - Edit
My favorite restaurant! I come here ALL the time. I always get the fresh spring rolls and Thai iced tea with coconut milk. BEST PEANUT SAUCE EVER!!!😍 The waiters and waitresses are so nice. Such a great atmosphere. I would recommend to vegans, vegetarians, and non-vegans alike! I’ve eaten my way through the whole menu (a bit of an exaggeration) and... EVERYTHING IS GOOD.

Yes! - Edit
This restaurant is so good! I literally wanted to order everything on the menu. I got the pumpkin curry at level 3 spicy and it wasn't bad! I survived! (I'm usually bad with spicy things.) My friend ordered the spicy noodles with tofu, also at a level 3 spicy, and I think they were better than my curry. But try them for yourself! They have all your traditional curries, Thai entrees, soups, salads, fried rice, and so much more and it's all vegan. Oh, and vegan ice cream...Yum!

Everything was stellar. Thai ice tea, satay, flower cups, spicy noodles with mock chicken, eggplant with mock duck, vegan vanilla ice cream ALL was fresh, quality ingredients and artfully prepared. I will be moving into the back of the restaurant and sleeping in a cot so I can eat here always! Service was exemplary as well!

Yummy Thai food - Edit
The food here is very fresh tasting but never bland. There are many vegan options; actually, more of the menu is vegan than merely vegetarian. The atmosphere and decor is attractive; it can get a bit crowded at times but I've never had to wait very long. Service is good!

Excellent Restaurant - Edit
I have been going to Plumeria for a couple years and the service, food, and overall experience keeps getting better and better. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and will cater to you individually. The atmosphere is cozy and elegantly decorated. The food is amazing and the faux meat is very realistic in both flavor and texture. They also have a gluten free option, as well as tofu. I would recommend the duck larb, the chicken satay, and the tom yum soup.

Best Restaurant Ever!! - Edit
I became vegan at the begging of the year and this is the best vegetarian/vegan restaurant I've ever been to. Cute cafe like seeing. Amazing food and drink presentation. I had the Thai iced tea with coconut milk and they had a little flower made out of the straw cover over the straw. Cutest thing ever! The variety of options at this place is amazing I didn't know what to get. They offer vegan chicken, beef, duck, and shrimp. They also have tofu or you could get just veggies. I had the Ka Pow spicy noodles with the duck. It was amazing. The flavor is so rich and the mock duck was delicious. I wished they had a location closer to home. Definitely will return. Must try!

Cons: One location
