Vegan Junk Food on Point

This was a great spot for some good vibes and even better vegan junk food. The taquitos were filled with beans and minced meat, and topped with a really interesting sweet enchilada sauce glaze. The Philly cheez steak was absolutely amazing, with a tasty cheez sauce over soy meat and green pepper. All of the flavors and textures worked great for this sammich. We followed up with some cheez fries with jalapenos, which were cut into rings. I probably would have preferred more minced peppers so you can pick it up easier with the fries, but maybe that's just me.

Overall, a win. Only complaint is that maybe there could have been a *touch* more food for the price.

Pros: Great flavors, yummy cheez sauce

Cons: Slightly small portion size, particularly taquitos

Weserstrasse Affair

New addition on Weserstrasse with plant-based dishes, card payment accepted and good music.

The chili cheese was very good. One of the best vegan hot dogs I’ve tried in Berlin.

Pros: Blitzkrieg Bop, Pinhead, Teenage Lobotomy

Good vegan food in punky setting

The way friendly) person working there said that there will soon be a full vegan menu. (I'm writing at the end of May, 2024.) For now, there's really good vegan bar food. I enjoyed the Desert Dog hotdog, which came with very good also and tasty corn chips. The three different types of vegan cheesecakes in the display case looked incredible. I'll need to come back and try them when I'm hungrier!

The outdoor seating is on a quiet street, full of trees.

There's no smoking inside (which is so wonderful)!

Pros: Good vegan food , Friendly , Cool setting

Vegan punk bar

I love this place. Ramones museum coming soon. All vegan! Had some espresso and some drinks and a delicious vegan cupcake.
There are vegan hotdogs on the menu and some other stuff. Outdoor seating, nice to sit inside too. Bartender was super friendly we talked about bands from Portland where I live.

Yummy vegan cakes

Great cake selection, they had like 8 different vegan cakes and 2 non-vegan cakes. Looked all really good. We had a chocolate cake and a chocolate fruits cake, which were both really good. Drinks are also great, oat milk is available. Definitely recommend to try it out!

Pros: Vegan cakes, Big selection

Amazing vegan cakes and muffins

I really like that please because it has some nice vegan cakes and muffins! I love the atmosphere in that cafe... the price is middle range but since vegan food is always more expansive it's a good price!!

Gabba Gabba Hey!

Well, first off - I’m a huge Ramones fan, they’re my favourite band in the whole world! But enough about that! Enough Vegan options for us to enjoy the entire experience! I’ve visited too many times to remember & I’ll keep going back!!!

Yummy cake

There is a really nice atmosphere in the Ramones Museum / enclosed Pub. They have different cakes and treats to offer, many off them are vegan. I was on a hurry, so only grabbed a piece of blueberry cake (3,10€) to go and ate it at the airport. It was my life saver. Usually I’m not too much into cakes, but this one was super-good, as it also had like a crunchy chocolate caramel layer. Also the waitress there was super-cute😄

Pros: Yummy vegan cake options , Cool concept , Nice staff

Cons: Not completely vegan

Ramones Museum Berlin

1, 2, 3, 4....

From Old Hanoi to East Berlin, this venue is quite simply the greatest monument to civilisation in the history of human kind (even though I haven't been since 2013 pre the change of address).

I greatly hope they expand the food menu to include re-fried beans, vegan kosher salami and vegan vindaloo.

First rule is the laws of Germany, but Cretin Hop over to this place.

Those in the know understand this review. Apologies to others.

Funky!!

The museum is a fab place and the little cafe really funky. They had 4 x types of vegan cake including coffee, carrot and the choc strawberry one we had. Only 2.80€ for a huge slice that fed x 2 of us. The girl at the bar was lovely x

Pros: rock n roll man!!, funky, amazing vegan cake

Hey! Ho! Let's Go

As a Ramones fan I had to check this place out. Although the museum do offer some vegan options such as sandwiches and cakes, it is quite limited and I wouldn't plan a trip here simply for food. The museum was great though and you can either pay 5 euros entry fee with a free drink or 3.5 euros entry, which I did. Inside there is some fantastic Ramones memorabilia to view and the vibe inside here is special. Staff are very friendly too.

Pros: Ramones memorabilia, Cool vibe, Friendly staff

Cons: Limited food options

Cool atmosphere

A cool place with it's own soul. You definitely don't go there because you expect some extravagant food but to enjoy the atmosphere. There is a choice of a vegan and a vegetarian sandwiches. Sandwiches were tasty and cheap although small. Cupcakes were nice looking but the same base with three different toppings. What is definitely a plus are the super comfy chairs!

Pros: Really cool place, Friendly staff

Cons: Very small selection

Bonzo Goes to Bitburg

who would have thought the happy cow app would help me find this museum of culture. unfortunately I'm old enough so have seen the Ramones a couple of times, after my visit here I was straight back home to watch end of the century. magic.
there was about a 50/50/split of veg/vegan food, nothing fancy, mainly sandwiches. I would say my cake here, full of cream and Kirsch was the best I had in Berlin, and that is really saying something.
I also have to say the sign on the door saying "no primark bags allowed inside" made me happy in so many ways.
if you are in Berlin, like music, cake, this museum and cafe are a must.

Pros: hey ho, cake!!!!, staff

Awesome for rock n rollers

This place is great, even if we didn't eat there my gf and I had a drink (included in €5 admission) and enjoyed the unique surroundings. The lady working was cool and friendly. Take your time, take in all the awesome little details on show.
Admission comes with a pin which is for lifelong membership, I can't wait to return and try their food!

Pros: Unique bar, Awesome staff, Vegan options

Very cosy

Very cosy place full of Ramones stuff, and you can also visit the little museum for a small fee. Lots of vegan cakes and sandwiches, very friendly service. Prices are decent. Not much more to say really, well worth visiting for vegan cake lovers and Ramones fans alike.

Pros: Ramones!

Cozy 'Hippie' European Café

A kinda small & hippie version of former CBGB (yes, i was there) ;) -- super cozy hangout, quite centrally located (can be easily reached with public tranport = centrally located in former Eastern Berlin, walking distance to station 'Hackescher Markt').

Very nice vegan & vegetarian cakes, free water (which is not normal in Germany). Tons of lemonade types, 'sandwich' (= Central European toast = not an U.S. 'bar' or 'club sandwich' = no fries nor any other restaurant food) done with love.

Easily accessible for wheelchairs / wheelchair drivers.

Living room atmosphere plus fine original autographs on the wall ;)

The museum is on the same level as the café so you can park your family in the café and stroll into the small museum for an extra 3,50.

Pros: very cozy, very cool, very friendly staff

Cons: not a restaurant / no restaurant food
