Good Ramen - Edit
I liked the minimal menu. It made it easy to order by not overthinking. The sushi rolls were great. There are large filling portions.

Best ramen ever - Edit
Went to this place when I was a couple of days in Boston. Loved that it is an all vegan restaurant. Had a very good ramen. Tried to make it myself, but it never tastes the same.

Killer Salty - Edit
I wanted to love this place! And I do love me some salt... However, half the way through my ramen I felt like I was sitting in a black box theater forcing myself to swallow dense spoonfuls of over-umami salted gravy. It was wicked unpleasant, and I ran across the street to Mother Juice to get a colorful cold antidote afterwards. Not really a place for people who like vegetables. 🌿💚🌿

My favorite ramen spot - Edit
This is the best vegan ramen spot on the east coast hands down. Every bowl is delicious and I recommend the red miso if you like some heat

Fantastic - Edit
Very cool spot on Newbury. The ratings are definitely right for this place. Everyone at the table loved all their bowls, including the skeptical meat eater.

Unique dining experience - Edit
I visited RedWhite on Newbury St. in Boston and ordered the No. 3 Original Miso ramen bowl. It came out pretty quickly and was piping hot. I paid extra for the smoke-filled dome, which is basically a clear plastic dome they put over the bowl and fill with smoke. When you lift it off the bowl, you get the fragrance of the smoke and a really cool visual experience of the cloud pouring out of the dome. It was worth it for our dining occasion, which was a celebration, but I wouldn't do it every time. The ramen itself was excellent. It was well seasoned but was a bit too salty for my taste (which is why I removed one star). However, the corn added a nice touch of sweetness that balanced out the saltiness pretty well. The price was also a little high for my preference, but it was a very large serving and really worth every penny. Lastly, the atmosphere of the restaurant itself was pleasant. It was fairly dark inside, but it seemed clean and bustling with activity. With four of us around the table, it felt a little crowded, but it made for a nice intimate dinner. I would definitely recommend this place and will go back the next time I'm in Boston.

Top tier vegan ramen - Edit
I’ve had a lot of fairly mediocre ramen in the last few years. Redwhite exceeded our expectations! The roll I had was pretty dank too. Casual style service was convenient since we were in a bit of a hurry. Definitely a bit on the pricier side, but the portions are huge to compensate for that. My only real gripe with this place at all is the fact that “redwhite boneless” is a really weird name for a ramen place…would happily come back here!

Fun! - Edit
Excellent ramen with variations available. Large serving. Avocado rolls were just ok - A roll of solid rice topped with a spicy sauce. Limited tables for seating but quick turnover if you are willing to wait a bit. Quick counter service. Street parking only in a popular nightlife area.

Amazing - Edit
Came here with a non veg friend and we both had an incredible meal. Small menu and no reservations meant the line (Saturday night on Newbury street; understandable) went fast. Had the spicy avocado roll and the truffle salt ramen and they were both so good.

Incredible ramen - Edit
Having just come back from Tokyo, I’ll say this is the best ramen you can get short of traveling to Japan 😉. Jokes aside, the dishes were incredible - we had the ginger curry ramen and truffle salt ramen along with the miso avocado roll and it was 10/10!

Good ramen - Edit
The ramen was nice, there are different broth options but the toppings are all the same, some variety would be nice. The place is small and it gets very crowded.

Great Ramen in a Tiny Basement - Edit
We went, as a party of four, right at 1130 for lunch during a weekday. I'm glad we got there when we did, as it quickly got busy (though service still seemed snappy).
Read moreThere are a number of broth flavors to pick from and you can get gluten-free rice noodles instead of regular ramen noodles. We got four different flavors (two unspicy, two slightly spicy) and enjoyed them all.
The seating is a bit cramped and they seem to do as much or more business as take-out or delivery as dine-in.
Pros: Delicious, Fast service, Gluten-free option
Cons: Cramped seating, Dark interior

Exquisite ramen in an unpretentious setting - Edit
Small no-frills ramen restaurant. Entirely vegan menu. Order at counter and then find a seat, tables appear to be limited to two seats.

Noodles had the perfect bite and the broth was delicious. I recommend adding the spicy oil!
Mac & Cheese was pretty good. Someone else mentioned a “kraft” taste and I had the same thought on my first bite but the flavor grew on me (especially with the fried onions and truffle oil)
Pros: Delicious and unique , No-frills but intimate atmosphere , All vegan menu

We drive to Boston to hit Patagonia and go straight here for what we consider a perfect date. There is no better Ramen. Get it spicy and add the cheese! Do not even think about missing the roasted miso avocado now turned into a roll.

Fantastic - Edit
The perfect meal on a cold winter day. I got the truffle salt ramen and truffle mac. The ramen was exceptional, the mac was good. You can pay an extra dollar or so to get “special” smoked ramen, which might be worth doing just for the spectacle of taking off the smoke cover.

Not the best not the worst - Edit
To start off, this had a great setup in downtown Boston. Great quick service and sticks to their niche of food offerings.
Read moreNonetheless, the food was very very salty which took away from the taste of the small bites. The Mac and cheese tasted like Kraft(before I was vegan) and had more of a paste texture than creamy.
To be fair, the place is known for their ramen which I did not get but will be back to try it for sure during my next Boston visit.
