Enjoyed the flavours in the tramezzini. My friends had the African sausages with mash and the steak with fries. The flavours were good, the food unfortunately not warm enough.

I had no idea that I was going to get to try braai on this trip but I was blown away by the flavors and textures of this amazing food.
Even my omnivore hubs was impressed!
The texture of the “meat” and sauces are both carefully curated and we enjoyed every bite. We took some biltong to go!

From a broken milkshake machine, to out of stock Coke Light, to being served warm Frugo drinks and one dirty glass, we weren’t initially overly impressed. However, upon the arrival of our Braai Box order, we were absolutely blown away by the taste of the mock meats!

Í ordered via uber eats and the menu there seems to be slightly smaller and no desserts. The prego sandwich (which was buy one get one free 🤷♀️ ), the sauce and coleslaw it came with were delicious, plus a side of fries. Keen to try their gatsby and Caesar salad.

The reviews are not wrong. The food here is INSANE. Huge portions, very meaty, incredibly flavoured 😍 I got one of the platters so I could try a bit of everything and honestly, every item on my plate was delicious. The setting is very casual though, btw, small and kind of diner style.

Missed the place at first as it is tucked away at the end of a few shops on the lower level. Ordered a steak and roast veg (as well as a side dish) and was not disappointed. The food was plentiful and the steak was amazing. All gluten free too; which is great for me

Every dish at Romeo and Vero was outstanding – full of flavour, perfectly seasoned, and so incredibly realistic it was almost scary. From vegan steak to chicken drumsticks and sausages, the craftsmanship was unbelievable. My personal favourites were the steak and calamari. The staff were warm and attentive, making the whole experience truly perfect – a must-visit in Cape Town!
