Creative menu but the food was a bit bland - Edit
We were soooooo excited when we saw the menu but the dishes we tried were a bit bland for our taste. That said, the ingredients were fresh, the concepts were interesting, and it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into the menu.

There was so much to chose from I just didn’t know where to go so had the club sandwich with potato wedges. The sandwich was very well flavoured but the wedges slightly undercooked

Everything is vegan which is great. We waited a really long time even though they weren't busy. They forgot two of our drinks. So yeah, the risotto was quite good but the ramen wasn't tbh.

They also sell food and beverages for take away (e.g. kombucha).
Note that it is self-service, but when we arrived, no one was there, so the employee served us. :)
Unfortunately, there is no toilet, but you can use the neighbor’s.

Great breakfast/lunch spot in De Waterkant - Edit
The second branch of The Conscious Kitchen offers the same excellent menu choices as the OG in Kloof St. Great outside veranda to sit and enjoy on a summers days. One of the best vegan breakfast spots in Cape Town.
