Total must for your trip to Prague - Edit
To put things short: The gulash was one of the best I ever had, the "chicken" was also incredibly delicious.

Awesome - Edit
My husband and I visited the place on a Monday evening and the place was packed! Luckily we had reserved a table beforehand.
Read moreI tried the goulash and my husband had the loaded fries. Both were really good.
The goulash was made with a red wine base and had really nice depth of flavor to it. The loaded fries had an amazing cheeze sauce on top.
Plus the beer was very nice. Definitely recommend paying them a visit, but make sure to book a table first.

5* for the right dishes - Edit
We visited recently and tried a few different things. For starters I got a chilli topinka and my partner got a topinka. The fried bread on both of these is great, there's plenty of cheese topping both of them too. The regular topinka comes with a generous amount of well seasoned meaty chunks and the chilli one is topped with a tasty soy mince chilli. These were both really good starters.
Read moreFor mains I got the kukuře na paprice. This was a bit disappointing and I considered dropping the review to 4* because of this. There weren't many chicken pieces and I didn't think the texture of them was particularly good. The sauce was a bit unexciting too. My partner got the guláš and that was much better, it had a much better flavour and there were plenty of good meaty chunks in there.
I'm keen to go back again in the near future and try a few more things.

Falls jemand authentisches Tschechisches Essen möchte, dann hier.

Must go - Edit
The food was delicious. The portions were big and affordable. Me and my boyfriend shared a medium dish of cheesy fries, the fish and bread spread and two mains for around 16€ each (including one beer). Tap water is free.

THE best vegan place in Prague - Edit
Can't stress this more: this is the best vegan place in Prague. I've tried many veganized versions of Czech cuisine, but this is the best one, hands down. And the best part of it is that it’s also a traditional Czech beer pub (hospoda) serving decent Czech beer from regional breweries. I wish there were more such places in Prague and in the whole Republic.

Delicious traditional Czech food in a tiny place! - Edit
Staff was very friendly and the place wasn't too busy at about 6 pm on a week night. We tried a soup and 3 entrees to get a chance for variety and really enjoyed everything. The highlights were the Kurkuře Na Paprice ('Chicken' in Paprika Sauce) and the Výpečky (Roasted Soy Chunks in Brown Gravy), although the Guláš (Red Wine Goulash) was also very tasty. The Kulajda (Creamy Potato, Mushroom and Leek Soup with Dill) was good but probably wouldn't get it again. The atmosphere was sort of funky with colorful lighting, and the restaurant itself was a little cramped and loud, but we really enjoyed our meal regardless. Highly recommend!

The best of the best - Edit
The most delicious vegan options of traditional Czech cousine! Highly recommend to everyone who wants to try "svíčková", " vepřo-knedlo-zelo" or other czech meals, but are plant-based. Unfortunately you'll probably wait a bit, because the place is very crowdy, but it's absolutely worth it! (Maybe it's better to do a reservarion before you go there.)

Perfect place for vegan tourists in Prague! - Edit
Veganized local dishes! I love trying local food when traveling, but that can be difficult for vegans. So this place was ideal. Great menu, food was excellent, nice wine and friendly staff. Couldn’t ask for more and highly recommend. Will head straight there next time I’m in Prague!

Good experience - Edit
As Australians we wanted to try a veganised version of some traditional Czech food so were happy to find this place.
Read moreWe got the chicken dish, goulash and fish dip on bread.
We were nervous to try the fish dip but it was really delicious and didn't taste fishy.
We had never had the chicken dish or goulash before, so we weren't sure what to expect. They were good but I don't think they were particularly something we would get again, not because of the quality but I don't think those dishes in general were to our taste.
We really loved the opportunity to eat veganised traditional Czech food and I think it will definitely appeal to those who enjoy this type of food

We highly recommend it - Edit
One of the best meals we had in Prague and very reasonably priced. We came cause of the good ratings on Happy Cow. Since the restaurant is very popular it's better to make a reservation beforehand. As we had dinner there we sat in a smaller room on the side which was a bit noisy. If possible it's probably even nicer to sit in the garden or in the room where the bar is situated. We absolutely recommend going there.

Great place with Czech classics & beer - Edit
For me, Shromaždiště is a great jewel of Žižkov's vegan restaurants and bistros. Here you will find excellent hospitality, a solid selection of Czech classics, and, at the same time, delicious Czech beer. All this in a pleasant basement environment that has a slight punk touch. During the warmer months, you can also find a pleasant garden in the courtyard.
Read moreAs for the food, I probably had everything their modest menu has to offer. The toast with minced "meat", which you can find on the menu in two variants, is excellent. Excellent cheese sauce and I can only recommend it.
The paprika "chicken" is excellent, and the Szeged goulash is great, but the svíčková sauce is simply svíčková sauce - I recommend it to everyone who hasn't tried it yet. A few years ago, I liked their vegan burger, which really amazed me, both with its size and taste, as well as with the hotness, which was very welcome. I haven't come across such a good burger in a long time. Unfortunately, they removed it from their menu some time ago and I really hope they bring it back.
The biggest weakness of the business is its opening hours, which prevent me from going there all the time. They usually only open after 4 pm, and as far as I remember, not even every day of the week. At the same time, they have longer opening hours on weekends.
I definitely give 5/5 stars. One of the best vegan places in Prague.
Pros: Czech classics, Toast with minced "meat", Beer
Cons: Opening hours

Amazing !!! - Edit
The food was perfect, such good prices and good variety, we had loaded fries with cheeze and gravy sauce and plenty of pickles and pickled onions, and the paprika sauce chicken. Both were absolutely amazing, good portion sizes, and had refreshing lager with it too. Couldn't reccomend more. The outside seating garden was nice and the waitresses were so friendly.
