Great pizza that's a bit different to the norm - Edit
I always enjoy a trip here. I'd never heard of Detroit style pizza before this was recommended to me. There are only a couple of vegan options on the menu and the create your own is labelled clearly enough so you know which toppings are vegan.
Read moreI got the vegan finch. The pizza has a delicious thick hearty base and I love the tomato sauce, it's thick and rich and full of flavour. The cheesy crust that forms gives a fun texture. They seemed to use a different cheese mix on my most recent visit that I didn't enjoy as much as previous visits. The toppings are generous but they really do play a minor role compared to the rest. It looks expensive but they do recommend one pizza is enough for two to share, but a hungry person can definitely eat a whole one.
The mixed fries basket is great too as it includes waffle and curly fries. #Veganuary

I love Detroit style pizza, and it was so nice finding a place that has quality Detroit style pizza, but also a few good vegan options.

Really good pizza - Edit
There are only two vegan pizzas at this place, and one of them has pineapple on it (but presumably you can ask for that to be excluded). The other is a simple cheese and tomato, which I would usually consider too boring to order but here it's really good!
Read moreIt's Detroit style pizza, so the base is really thick and delicious. The tomato sauce is extremely flavoursome, I've never had such good sauce on a pizza. And the vegan cheese melts well and is tasty. It's a simple but effective pizza. The pizzas are quite big, but you can get any leftovers boxed up to takeaway.
The fries are also really good here, you get a basket of regular, curly, and waffle fries, and they're very nicely seasoned.
It's a casual and relaxed spot, highly recommended.
