The food tasted great and the presentation was amazing. Drinks were slow to come out, arrived when we had nearly finished meals, but they were nice coffees, hot chocolate was delicious. Very expensive.

Even though we only had limited time in the area and had planned on visiting The Cardamom Pod just once, we ended up coming back a second time. We ordered the Life Is Berry Peach Pancakes, the Gourmet Toastie, and the Gingerbread Hot Chocolate. Once again, truly gorgeous and delicious!
I have thought about this place every day since I tried it, and I so wish I could move there and eat their food every single day!

True story - This place actually turned us vegan. We were vegetarian and were sitting there looking at the amazing food and said to ourselves “If this is the type of food we can eat as vegans, then we have no excuse”, and then our journey began. Hands down i would say this is the best brunch i have had. Presentation is like no other and it is the best iced drink i have ever had. We came on a weekend and had to wait 40 mins for a table but it was worth it. I went for some indian waffles(only available weekends) my partner went for nachos (available after 11) and both were great.

Food is spectacular, the presentation is second to none and the taste was really good. Super impressed with the food.
Service was lackluster to be kind. Food came out not in sync so I'd finished my acai basically by the time the second meal arrived which was disappointing.
It's not cheap either, the prices on the website aren't updated with the actual price either so be wary. 10% surcharge on weekends too. However I feel the quality of the food justifies the price entirely, sadly it doesn't justify the service
Don't go expecting a cheap breakfast or good service but if you want delicious impressive looking food you won't be let down

Yummy food and huge portions. Great presentation on the food and everything we ordered was incredibly tasty. Everyone should try the açai bowl from here at least once. Everything on the menu and in the cabinet is vegan they just have cows milk for coffee. The space is nice but some of the decor is a bit middle aged Mum-ish. This is a great choice for brunch and we would’ve loved to try some of the cabinet food but we were too full.

We've been to Cardamom Pod before and found the food is good but the service is poor - but on this visit they couldn't have been ruder. Multiple staff ignored us and when the staff member in charge of seating got off the phone she finally looked up and said "yes?". The vibe is that you should feel lucky to be there and that they serve you at all. Clearly customer service is not a priority.
