Definitely one of my favorites. - Edit
I’ve never had a bad meal here. This time we had the chips and dip plate, the quinoa bowl with blackened tofu, and a vegan carrot cake cupcake. So good!

Must check out - Edit
This restaurant has a very charming atmosphere and very clean. They are not a vegan or vegetarian restaurant but they have a lot of vegan substitutions/ options. We started with the chips and dip and wow was that good so simple yet a ton of flavor. Freshly made potato chips are my favorite. I ordered the golden curry with tofu and it was the most flavorful vegan dish I've ever had. It blew me away. My husband ordered the pasole with tofu and that was delicious also. And because we ordered vegan style they charged less for the dish. All in all you should check this restaurant out.

Love the Floridian! - Edit
We have been here many times and the food never disappoints. I had the Chips and Dips for an appetizer. Great hummus and black bean dips with lots of vegetables for dipping. For dinner, I had the vegan Steak Frites using blackened tofu. They state the dish can be made vegan on the menu. The flavors were outstanding. Finished up by bringing home vegan carrot cupcakes. Once again, delicious

There were more options than we saw online for vegans. The server was super attentive. A lot of items can be made vegetarian or vegan upon request. They even had a yummy vegan cupcake dessert.

Way above my expectations! The server was excellent and noticed that i said “oow” when she mentioned a vegan special. She came back and explained all the vegan options without my asking. Very impressed. The food was amazing. we ordered the hummus appetizer. For entree i had the golden curry which was out of this world. Would give this place 5 stars.

Great vegan options and delicious food - Edit
There were several items on the menu that had the following caption: "Can be prepared vegan or vegetarian" which was really great. I had a soup and the hummus/black bean dip veggie platter and both were delicious. Everyone in our group was very impressed with the food. We ate on the patio, which was nice (it's on a quiet street, but centrally located in the historic district) and the service was great.

Delicious and great location and patio - Edit
Their gimlet was delicious. My son got the kids fried tofu with carrot sticks. They made him a delicious vegan aioli. I had the winter salad with tempeh with an amazing nutritional yeast dressing and my husband’s tempeh burrito was amazing. The server was super knowledgeable about veganism and he was superb. Would rate 5 stars.

Vegans and other full flavor lovers - don’t miss this! - Edit
This place is not to be missed. Even if you are not visiting St Augustine it is worth the trip. Vegans so often must settle for mediocre meals because so few places have Chefs like Jenny? Genny ? Whom ever, she is amazing. Stick with the tofu and you will be amazed at the flavors that entice your buds. The entire combo of the Autumn Curry is pure delight ! If 5 stars were allowed (not) I certainly would award this place is l”as good as it gets”.

Perfect for dinner - Edit
This place will be perfect for vegans and non vegans. Most of the menu can be customized and waiters are very good at giving you suggestions or accommodating your requests. Food was delicious, I think it can impress non vegans very easily. The place is busy so it’s better to have reservation.

Overall a great place - Edit
Overall, this is a great little place in St Augustine that offers a few vegan options (substitutions). I had the tempeh tacos. They were just OK. But the fingerling potatoes that came with them were delish. The atmosphere and service here are wonderful. The outdoor patios were quaint, and my server and hostess were absolutely lovely.

The salad I ordered was off. It tasted like cigarettes smell. Couldn't eat it and it was expensive. Won't be back and I live really close, what a shame.

We had sat down to eat at a nearby restaurant with no vegan and gluten free options and our server recommended this restaurant. Food, service and ambience were terrific. I’d highly recommend.

Terrific food - Edit
Thank goodness we found the Floridian among the legions of eateries in the historic district. This hip-casual restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are knowledgable and helpful, but best - the food is terrific. There are many veg & vegan choices, including tempeh & tofu, plus there are vegan desserts. They also serve beer and wine.

Pet friendly lovely place - Edit
There’s enough seats outside to come with your furry one. They’ll list people with dogs and work it out so you’ll get a seat. But is a very popular and gets really busy so you might have to wait for them to call you (or text you).

YES! Several Vegan Options! - Edit
What a great experience! The Floridian serves all types of food but caters to vegetarian and vegan guests. The Golden Winter Curry with Tempeh or Tofu is very good- this is what I ordered! They also have a handful of bowls with quinoa, black beans, and veggies. You may need to do a few alterations for an ingredient or two on the bowls, but plenty of veggies! They also had a vegan black bean soup not on the menu. 5 stars in my book!

Best dining experience I’ve had in a long time! - Edit
Came here for a night out with my (mostly vegan) boyfriend & we were both blown away by the service, the experience & the food! First off, our waiter was very attentive, accommodating & gave excellent vegan recommendations. Also, the drink menu is rather extensive, with great beer & wine selections, as well as tasty cocktails. We got the chips & dip (house-made kettle chips with fresh cut veggies & a garlicky hummus a black bean poblano dip). Then, for dinner i got the Nicoise (not a salad at all, but rather delicious potato, zucchini, summer squash dish in a tomatoey sauce, topped with grilled tofu (waiter raved about the addition of the tofu)), and my boyfriend got the greens & grains bowl with blackened tempeh - so so delicious! A lot of the menu items allow for the substitution of tempeh or tofu and even mention the fact that they can be prepared vegan or vegetarian upon request, which makes ordering vegan so easy. Definitely recommend The Floridian if you’re in the St. Augustine area!
