Vegan restaurant opened 2018 in Phuket Town. Offers a wide selection of savory dishes, fresh juices and healthy drinks, and dessert cheesecakes. Sample menu items like smoked tofu summer rolls, fried mushrooms, sourdough toast with avocado & mushrooms in balsalmic reduction, soup in bread bowl, pizza with vegan cheese, full English breakfast, burger with fries, nut roast, and granola bowl topped with fresh fruits. Dining room is air-conditioned. Open Mon-Sun 12:00pm-9:00pm.

I had the black bean quesadillas, which where fine. They came with sweet whipped cream instead of sour cream, which was not tasty at all.
Read moreMy friend had the faux-chicken hawaii burger, which was aweful. The bun had been frozen and thawed and was bitter and crumbly. The mushroom/chicken was very oily and rubbery, the basil pesto didnt go with the rest of the flavors at all. The fries were deep brown, rubbery and also very oily. The wifi didnt work and the waitress was very indifferent. The only good thing was the unsweetened thai ice tea.
Pros: Nice ambience, good location.
Cons: Western prices, not equivalent quality.

Hi Steffikah it’s seems you had a bad experience at The Vegan Table .....I’ve been away for a few days on a Visa Run and will be back in the restaurant tomorrow ..... I can assure you that we do not freeze our avocado brioche rolls as they are baked on site every day as we have 100 to 150 people coming to dine with us and we have never frozen our bread ever ...... with regard to the ‘faux chicken’ this is one of our signature dishes and we have hundreds of people giving us amazing feedback about this dish you are the first to complain ?.... food can be a personal thing and I think maybe you weren’t having a bad day .... we make everything ourselves nothing is processed if you like food that resembles a generic fast food establishment then I’m sorry we an artisan creative vegan restaurant........I’m sorry my staff wasn’t entertaining enough for you but I will be there tomorrow and I’m very good at taking care of my customers if you care to return i can assist you most gladly .... have a great day !

A true Vegan gem nestled amongst the chaos in Old Phuket town. The vegan menu was superb, inspiring and extremely well presented. The ambience was spot on, chilled but chique. The food we ordered looked exactly like the menu suggested and tasted even better! This Vegan concept and Simon's hard work to deliver is exceptional! Bravo.

I can't explain how nice and pleasing my evening at "The Vegan Table" was. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff is so welcoming. This is one of the best vegan restaurant I've ever been to. It's really a must try, see and go to!

I went for the cheesecake and I saw it was really overpriced. It was 179 TBH for just a piece of cake and it wasn't that good (they say on the menu that you won't see the difference, but it is just the other way round, it is hard and frozen).

I’m sorry you though our cheesecake was overpriced ..... in comparison to other vegan restaurants in thailand we’re not expensive at all ..... to make our cheesecake we use fresh almonds which incidentally here cost a lot of money your welcome to check the price in Villa market also agar agar powered and almond milk are used with maple syrup for its sweetness ..... our cakes are lovingly made by our dedicated team and we’ve always had positive feedback from all our regular customers ..... if your really unhappy let me invite you back tomorrow where I will serve you for free on the house another dessert in a hope we can change your mind about our food ? We really care about our customers as we are extremely busy and don’t like to upset any of our vegan friends ?

Not only is the food great the place is beautifully designed with aircon inside seating and outside alfresco dining the choice is yours .... service can be a bit slow but I put that down to the fact they are so busy everyday !!!

I was happy at first but... after a few times eating here I have ended up very disappointed cause of the always unripe avocado they serve.
Read moreFALAFEL WRAP - it was tasty but a little bit small portion for the price.
PEPERONI PIZZA - really good taste I recommend it even though the bread base is not my type (it doesnt fully cook in the middle so it stays chewy).
SCRAMBLE TOFU TOASTS - good. A bit more salt needed for my taste but you can add it yourself so no problem. But the avocado wasn't ripe (it was still hard to be eaten, no taste, had to leave it all).
THAI ICE TEA - like it a lot.
SPRING ROLLS - didn't like them too much.. Big raw vegetable pieces that make it hard to eat cause they fall apart, and too much sesame seed all around.
STRAWBERRY COCONUT SHAKE - very good.
AVOCADO CHIKEN BURGER - very very disappointing. It has no bum bread, instead they use an avocado as bread but again the avocado is that hard that is impossible to eat, so half of the dish, the part that makes this dish "special/different" has gone to the bin (I ordered it take away). In their picture looks amazing but this dish has made me not to want to go back again. I felt very dissatisfied. If they don't have ripe avocado would be better to offer something else..
STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE - really tasty.
It seems they want to give fancy food but then fail in a few details. Plus it is expensive (UK prices) and the slow service have finally made me feel down about the place.
By the way, they give you a 5% discount on your first bill if you leave a positive review on happy cow, so.. don't take them to serious or as a way of thinking it's the perfect place cause they buy the reviews...
Oh! And if you have a look at the reviews on Google you'll find out that if you leave a negative review they look for you on their CCTV recordings to see if you ate your food even though you weren't fully happy with it and tell you about it as a way to deny the food wasn't good (pretty rude..).
Anyways..
Pros: Very good shake, smothies and cake

Hawaiian Chickn Burger was good!
Best sweet potato/kumara fries I’ve had in SE Asia. (They’re the real deal!)
Side salad was good.
Cinnamon latte was very nice too.
Definitely spendy but they put a lot of love into the food so worth the treat.
They make a lot of the stuff in house like the bread, mayo, hand cut fries etc
Made to order.
Air con and free WiFi is a plus.
Owners are friendly and passionate.

‘FISH’ & CHIPS
Not always on the menu but if you get the opportunity to have the banana blossom fish and chips - DO IT! Absolutely fantastic! The whole dish is incredible. The ‘fish’ is great. The tartare sauce is amazing! Not usually a fan of mushy peas but these are special! Best vegan fish and chips I’ve ever had, anywhere.
Turmeric latte with coconut milk is great with a little sweetener.

The attention to detail comes out in the taste, aesthetics, and quality of the food.
The service is great and very personable.
We definitely recommend this restaurant and every time we are in Phuket we will be there!

The staff isn’t very friendly. They seem unmotivated and barely smile or speak. The food was okay, but really nothing special. My smoothie tasted quite watery. I expect more for that price and good reviews. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this place.

With regard to your comments regarding our food well it seems harsh for you to claim all my food is ‘nothing special’ by just trying one dish ? Ordered the spicy veggie wrap and appleade juice. My partner ordered the mac 'n cheese wrap with a Thai iced tea. Delicious food, great decor in a lovely air-conditioned indoor café, and great staff. 🥰

The spicy wrap was deliciously spicy (don't order if you're sensitive!) and sweet potato fries were very crispy. Could have done with some vegan mayo on the side, and the slaw lacked some flavour (a zesty dressing would have been good, like the marinade for papaya salad), but otherwise some good vegan food in a very conscious place! 🤞 Would like to try the breakfast options or curry next time! 💖

They gave us complimentary cauliflower wings, which were amazing. Ordered the mushroom, pepperoni, and olive pizza and the burger and shared with someone. The burger was ok. My friend got the nachos, which she loved, and which I’ll try next time.
