Tasty ramen in a busy place! - Edit
Ramen was great! Had a golden sesame ramen. The peanutbutter added a nice touch - and even though I‘m usually more into spicy ramen this one was really well prepared.
Read moreYou might have to wait outside on busy days though so make sure to plan ahead.
Pros: Quiet area in busy JR station , Attentive staff , Tasty ramen

A review of seasonal ramen and a case of confusion - Edit
This is my second time to try T’s Tantan’s seasonal ramen. They’re offerring cold ramen this summer. At first I was really sceptical since their cold ramen looks too healthy. It has bitter gourd as one of its ingredients, and on top of that, the noodles is smothered by vegetables. I was expecting it to taste like salad with cold noodles. I first mixed all the ingredients as recommended by the staff. I took a deep breath and asked myself why did I even order this ramen. I then put the noodles with some veg in my mouth. I was in total confusion and shock. Luckily, it was the kind of confusion that I like having.
Read moreThe ramen was actually very tasty and savory. And it was spicy but the kind of spiciness that doesn’t linger in your mouth because that is not the kind of spiciness that you want to have in summer. Their cold ramen was really good. Everything was in harmony and the bitter gourd was not as bitter as I thought it would (it was still bitter but not too bitter). It was an intersting experience. Definitely recommend it.

Good ramen. Amazing Gyoza - Edit
Has a certain food chain feeling but fast and friendly service. Staff speaks English. The Ramen is good, but there are better in Tokyo. However the absolute best Gyoza I had in a very long time.

The best vegan food in Tokyo - Edit
It was the best vegan food I have tried in Tokyo. Went there 2 times and both times I was greeted by the amazing staff and ice cold water! Amazing on a hot summer day. After ordering you will be met with amazing noodles and my favourite the gyozas! Even the non vegan who traveled with me said the gyozas were wonderful! Great restaurant.

Tasty ramen and gyoza - Edit
Tasty and affordable Japanese food and reasonably quick service. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you are waiting for a train. You need to get a special ticket to get through the ticket barriers. I accidentally bought an actual train ticket and got trapped inside the barriers until a kind member of staff told me what ticket I should have got and then let me through.

Busy but worth the journey and wait! - Edit
The stations are a maze so trying to find places inside can be frustrating but the instructions here allowed us to find the place. The last sitting is 9.30pm and there had been a line to get in, lucky for us, we were last to be seated just in time, we had to leave by 10.30pm. You can save money by ordering a set menu, I couldn't get the one I wanted as they'd run out of rice, but I got the summer special - cold black sesame tantan with a side of mock meat, vegan cheese, and coriander. It had said the tantan was spicy but it was a very mild level. The noodles were absolutely delicious but I wouldn't recommend the side, it didn't add much and the cheese had no taste. My partner got the golden sesame tantan (which he really enjoyed) and we shared a large portion of gyoza which came with a dip (nice to have but not anything special). The only drink option was beer, but there is a water jug at your table. Really nice staff. Great portion sizes.

A vegan beacon in Tokyo - Edit
There isn't much to say about T's tantan which hasn't already been said. The golden sesame ramen is fantastic, and something we've tried to recreate at home. It was a bit hard to find using Google maps so it's easier to follow directions on other happy cow reviews. We went to this branch and the other branch, and I'm glad to see that the airport branch might be open again too!

A must go! - Edit
I love T tantans, and was so excited to go! I realized I've actually had their hot and sour cup ramen back in the states and it is amazing! My partner and I went twice and both times we got something different (so a total of 4 different meals)! My favorite was their seasonal special, cold lemon ramen with soy yogurt and rice.

Tasty and Cheap - Edit
Our first vegan restaurant at Tokyo, and it was very good. It wasn’t mind blowing but I was satisfied with the meal (Keep in mind I have only ever given a handful of restaurants 5 stars). Our highlight was definitely the gyoza which were amazing. It had great service and was very reasonably priced. The food in the picture all together cost us about 2300 Yen (roughly $23.00 AUD). They also had very detailed menus with all kinds of allergy advice that could ever be needed. No complaints!

A must visit - Edit
Was really looking forward to trying this place after all the reviews and was not disappointed. Got the golden sesame signature ramen dish and it was absolutely tasty. The peanut butter made everything deliciously creamy. Portion was huge, was struggling to finish but persevered - not something to waste! Ignore the few reviews that say there is better ramen out there - when you're looking for good ramen without meat in it and stock that you can trust, you're not left with limitless options and this place was perfect. Convenient location too in the station with fast service. Ended up trying their other branch in Ueno and the service was just as good and just as busy. Also recommend their to go vegan instant ramen pots, saved us on evenings when we were just too tired late in the evening to find somewhere to eat in other cities when places shut early. These can also be bought in Natural Lawson convenience stores.

Don’t sleep on the gyoza! - Edit
We came here twice during our stay! Both the golden sesame and black sesame ramen was amazing and the gyoza was delicious! It comes with this citrusy soy dipping sauce that is divine. I’m kicking myself for not bringing home more of their instant ramen too! I got the instant tan tan and it was great.
