A rescue site ! - Edit
I had been wandering around for 5-6 hours in Budapest and I was starting to get VERY VERY hungry as I hadn't had any lunch yet ... and then by some sort of miracle I saw this sign "Vega City". I went there and it was absolutely OK. Nothing special, but OK and the guy from the staff who I had to do with was very aimiable. Anyway, when you walk around for hours and get hungry AND you are vegan, then this sort of place is VERY VERY welcome !

we eat lunch at 3’o clock in the afternoon, two hours before they close and the small buffet which is arranged on your plate by the staff, was a bit empty to look at. maybe it was better to fill the food in smaller bowls. we got two dishes from the hot dish of the day. but the food was almost cold when we got it. we asked the staff when we arrived if it was possible to get hot food and they said yes. we were tired and hungry so we didn't complain.

We really enjoyed our food here. It wasn’t entirely clear how the menu works, but we figured it out and had a lovely meal here. If you’re at the National Museum, this is a wonderful place for lunch.

Buffet style restaurant. You choose what you want and they plate it for you. Every item has an individual price but they also have specials where for a certain price you get a certain number of options. Food was good, fast service, and nice staff.

Ich habe zuerst mal in dem Bistro gegessen. Die Auswahl ist zunächst etwas überfordert und man muss verstehen, wie man sein Essen zusammenstellen kann. Ich hatte einen Burger, und er hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Dazu ein Wasser und einen frisch gepressten Orangensaft. Alles zusammen hat zehn Euro gekostet. Das ist sehr günstig und preiswert.
Read moreWer ein schnellen Snack möchte oder ein kleines Mittagessen braucht, sollte hier hingehen denn für eine kurze Mahlzeit. Zwischendurch ist es definitiv geeignet. Um nett abends essen zu gehen, sollte man sich aber eher eine andere Location suchen, da es hier etwas laut nicht so angenehm zum Speisen ist.

Read moreThere was a selection of different dishes available and they looked like traditional Hungarian cuisine, so it was really nice to sample traditional dishes that were all vegan friendly!
I loved the pancake that I had and the ‘milky rice’ type dessert - so delicious. I also had a coconut and watermelon drink from the fridge, that was also so good. We’re hoping to go back again before we leave!

Headed over for lunch after a late night and good sleep. The outside looks great with big glass windows smack bang opposite the national museum.
Read moreQuite a queue of people on their lunch breaks . There were 3 x meals one could choose at one price or you can just freestyle it and mix and match.
I ran with the meal deal and had vegetable soup with a main of cabbage wrapped breaded vegan sausage creation on a bed of borscht. Everything was totally ace & scrumptious.
The set up is brilliant from display,to pay,to amazing wraparound the supporting column stairs to the mezzanine, to the toilets.
The future is vegan 🌱

Buffet style restaurant in the city centre. Daily changing menu, soups, main dishes, salads and desserts. We had kebab plate and fried seitan with pea rice, I recommend both dishes.

Had Pad Thai with a side breaded aubergine. The pad thai was gloopy and salty and nothing special, the aubergine was soft and very salty in places. The sausage wasn’t pleasant.
