wouldnt go there next time - Edit
Food was fine, bit too salty. Dessert tasted like it has gone bad, I asked the staff how long it is since they made it and told them that it tastes decayed, also noticed others who had it on plate didnt finish. they didnt even care.

Good Food, Friendly Service! - Edit
As a couple of English non Hungarian speakers they were very friendly and helpful though there may have been some confusion over the plates! We got a thai burger each some fried seitan and potatoes all of which was delicious! Would definitely recommend to any vegan leaning people while in Pest!

I like that we can pay per dkg, however, it's a bit difficult to calculate how much it's gonna cost then, so I'd like more clarity on that; maybe more fixed price portions... Great kitchen though. Could use a bigger variety of sauces and maybe a garlic-free version of their awesome all-purpose sauce. I love that they have tempeh.

I was hesitant to go here as it mostly looked like fast crap food. We went and I had a red lentil and beetroot stew (which was a huge serving) and mustard tofu and a smoothie for only $12AUD (very very cheap and good food). If you’re in Budapest and you’re vegan you cannot miss this staple!

Unfriendly staff and bland food - Edit
I have been vegan for years and years, I can honestly say this is one of the most unfriendly vegan restaurants I’ve ever been too. We have tried this place twice to see if maybe staff were having an off day. Staff didn’t want to answer any questions or even offer a greeting. They seemed annoyed that they were being disturbed from their friends sitting in the restaurant.

Second visit wasn’t great either, there was no one else in there and we were rushed into choosing. Food is very bland. Tasted like left overs you’d have at your nan’s house. Staff hurried the transaction only to go and sit down again with group of friends.
Not a great service and the food is just dull.

Another quick stop for me. This time I took it as take out. Got the burger, some roasted pumpkin and a salad. Not too expensive, maybe €5? And really delicious. Ate it on the busride to Belgrade. Great concept. Foods are ready made and you choose from the counter. Will definitely go again if in town :)

Came here for breakfast and got a vegan croissant made up with salad and tempeh inside. It was really good, but there are a lot of better vegan restaurants nearby so we never came back to try anything else from the lunch menu.

I had the spinach and almond gnocchi, lemon cake and a smoothie, it was all really delicious food and not too expensive. Staff spoke perfect English so they we're kind enough to explain the menu to me, definitely recommend

Any choice you make, you're gonna love it! The burgers, salads, vegan cheese, tofu, cakes.. everything is pretty good.
It's like a cafeteria, you have to stand in the queue than choose.
Very nice staff (with handsome guys haha) and a comfortable place.

Vega city is a nice restaurant, I ate an Indian dish and it was delicious. It's also very cheap, so I recommend it. The staff was very nice and patient with me while I was figuring out what to order.

My boyfriend had a burger, and was quite dissapointed.
My friends and I had the carbonara and some deepfried vegetables. Both kinda tasteless.
I hope to go back again and find the food more flavourfull.
