Great vegan option in Myengdong - Edit
We ordered the bibimbap, kimchi fried rice and the spicy chicken wings. The kimchi rice was a stand out, super delicious. Bimimbap was also good, fresh and lots of flavour. We were disappointed by the chicken - expected a spicy gochujjang sauce but it was sweet and very thick. The robot serving was novel, too! Great to have Korean vegan options.

Tasty food - Edit
The menu is good, with nice variety of choices. The positions I ordered were delicious but the portions are big. At least for me, I had a Pork cutlet poke and Fries and couldn’t finish everything😄
Read moreIt`s nice that you don’t have to communicate with the waiter to order and receive food, since you have to order through the tablets on the table and the food is served by robots. Good for introverts 😊
The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable.
However, it would be nice if the menu has other drinks rather than Cola and other soda beverages.

Good choice for Korean food - Edit
Extensive menu of vegan Korean food, which is easy to order on the screen at your table. The menu is available in multiple languages. It seems very popular with foreigners so you won't have any issues ordering!
Read moreHighly recommend the japchae, really delicious.
The portion sizes are quite big and ideally the dishes are best suited to sharing between a small group, so you can try lots of different things. The amount of food is generous for the price, and you are also served some small side dishes for free!
The service is quick and efficient. They accept card and cash.
The inside of the restaurant itself is a little basic but completely fine, just not a super fancy restaurant!
Pros: Easy to order, Value for money

Korean food made vegan - Edit
We didn't realize that the portions would be so large, so don't make the same mistake as us and order modestly. The japchae and fried dumplings were our favorites, but honestly, everything was very tasty.

Amazing Vegan Restaurant in Myeongdong - Edit
This restaurant was near my hotel and I ate here 5 times when I was staying in Seoul. Food is amazing - vegan Korean food with Bibimbap, Tteokboki, fried “chicken” etc. They also have fish cake stew which I didn’t try but will next time I visit Seoul, and rice cake soup and kimchi fried rice. The food is delivered by robot and you choose via the screen at the table. 😊 #Veganuary

Good but didn't knock my socks off. - Edit
I ate here multiple times during my stay in Seoul. The food was generally good but not amazing. The Tteokbokki was probably the best thing I ate, but be aware.. tis spicey! Whatever you do... skip the chips...not good! The bibinbap was ok.

The food was great! We even came back a second time. Lovely staff who speak multiple languages.

We were very happy we did not choose the spicy option! The less spicy one was already the spiciest food we had in Seoul.

Read morei only had time to visit one restaurant in seoul since i was not there long but i am very happy i chose this one. i really wanted to try the vegan version of korean crispy chicken and they did it perfectly. the vegan beef dish was also incredible, the texture and flavours of both the mains and side dishes were so delicious i still think of this meal regularly.

Not so fresh - Edit
At the edge the most popular shopping area of Seoul, "Vegan Kitchen" is located. It's in a side street full of halal restaurants. They seem to thrive, while Vegan Kitchen was disturbingly quiet during my visit. This seemed so even more because Vegan Kitchen is set up to handle many guests. Ordering is done using a tablet computer on the table (English available), white the order to brought to the table by a robot. What fun!
Read moreI ordered a set menu with rice, curry and vegetables. The quality of the ingredients seemed low, the presentation wasn't anything special and the recipe didn't stand out. The mock meat was dry, not chewy. Therefore I struggled finishing the meal. It was just not interesting and not rewarding to eat. While all perfectly vegan, the meal was boring and average at best. Or perhaps I was out of luck because I was the only guest there and the food wasn't fresh anymore?

Cons: dry, not so fresh food

Good food - Edit
Our meal here was good, but not at the top of the restaurants we visited. But a large restaurant for Seoul standards, good food, and a fun robot server. Good spot for dinner before catching the cable car up to Namsan Tower. There is also a vegan chocolate shop around the corner. It was closed when I was there, but it looked exciting.

Good food, limited options - Edit
This place was good! I got the garlic vegan chicken wings as the menu seemed quite limited when I visited. Not sure if they had run out of a bunch of stuff or have decreased their menu but it felt like I did not have many options to choose from on the kiosk.
Read moreRegardless, I am glad the garlic wings were available as that had been on my short list of things I wanted to try and they did not disappoint, that sauce is super tasty. I'm not sure what brand of vegan chicken they use but it taste similar to the regular line of gardein brand chicken.
The robot server was also fun as I had not come across that in korea yet & did not for the rest of my week there!
Pros: 100% plant based, Tasty food, Robots
Cons: Limited options

Best of the best ! We are coming back - Edit
This vegan restaurant delivers a cozy and inviting experience, serving delicious plant-based comfort food. The ramen hot pot ( Budae Jijgae ) was packed with flavorful broth and fresh ingredients, perfect for a chilly day. The dumplings were soft and well-seasoned, paired beautifully with a tangy dipping sauce. The accompanying small sides like kimchi and pickled radish added a delightful variety to the meal.

Really really good Korean chicken - Edit
It's a fun, friendly spot in the centre of seoul. I loved the korean chicken , it was really tasty. They also serve alcohol while most of the vegan restaurants in Seoul don't.
Read moreThe robot waiters is a bit of a gimmick. They'd serve quicker walking the 3 metres 🙂
