Visited this restaurant many times and they never slip. Great food, great service, even better cakes. Also love the warm bread they hand out with every meal. Really reccommend this place. Make sure you book a table beforehand!

Read moreI've been to V maybe 30 times now, my first visit being 2 days after they first opened, and in the ~7 years since then, they have been consistently excellent. There was only 1 meal I ever have not loved (Chili sin carne, which didn't stay on the menu for long), and literally every single other time I ate there is a mind-blowing experience.
When I have international friends in town, I always take them there, and there wasn't a single meat-eater who'd afterward go "it wasn't good because there wasn't any meat". Usually the opposite happens - people end up having a 4-course meal and are bursting with joy afterwards - or at least end up being surprised vegan meals can be so tasty, filling and interesting. "V" provides amazing experiences still somehow at a reasonable price.
The waiting staff is a whole separate chapter, and I have nothing but gratitude for years of being kind-hearted and welcoming. The fact that a lot of them have been working there for many years (some since the opening) is a testament to the fact that they're a solid workplace as well.
Pros: great textures and flavor; an experience, creative, uncommon meals (not just meat-less food), filling, tasty, and still not extravagantly pricey
Cons: limited restaurant space, so book in advance

Are here twice (once with a friend). Tried the beetroot ravioli, spicy coconut soup & ‘share platter for two’ for starters. Then the lasagna and battered cauliflower for our mains. Then we shared one of their gluten free desserts (raw?) cakes. Everything was AMAZING. Definitely one of the better vegan restaurants I’ve ever been to! A must go while in Tallinn. It’s small and gets busy especially in the winter or on rainy summer days as they then don’t have their outside area. Seating only for 23 people inside. So best to reserve ahead.

Really good food and very nice staff. I had the pasta with pesto and it was amazing. Only bad thing is that the portion was quite small and it cost extra to get more. And this was at lunchtime. But would highly recommend this place!

Went here for dinner whilst on holiday in Tallinn a few years ago and can honestly say it was one of the best vegan meals I’ve ever had. The cake selection was amazing too! I would go back to Tallinn just for this place!

I visited here in 2018 and had the seitan tacos. It was before I went vegan and I had never tried seitan before. I loved it and it helped turn me on to vegan food before I knew much about veganism😄

I got vegan fish and chips and it was very very good, the atmosphere was super cosy and the restaurant looked very very nice. The prices were also good for the amount of food served. Really recommend to try out this place!

Hands down the best restaurant in Tallinn (or maybe even Europe, who knows?)! Every dish I ever had was excellent! The prices are not cheap and the portions could be bigger. You are left craving for more because the food is just so delicious.

The dinner was just fantastic. The food is amazing, we had snack platter, fish n chips and a cheesecake desert recommended by the waiter. Service was superb 10/10. The waiter was highly dedicated to what he does.

Ah, one of my favourite places in the whole universe! Do not miss the starters and desserts!! EPIC! The way they have thought of every detail and how they manage to deliver every time is just amazing. Always such a spot on experience and the staff is just lovely. I think that the cashew cheese, the pesto and the cakes are my favourite of them all, but it’s impossible to choose. Do not miss the bread either!

There’s no pressure to dress or look middle class. I also feel that the prices are one of the most reasonable if you compare what you get. LOVE IT!!!

Great experience in this restaurant! Nice staff, beautiful food, unbelievable tastes. This place has it all. I had the best (tasting and beautiful looking) tofu fish and chips here. Also, Snickers and Oreo cakes are to die for! Highly recommend.

We had the daily special, ”fish” (tofu wrapped in seaweed) and chips, with tartar sauce and mashed peas. It was so good we could have had another portion directly, but we had to leave room for some dessert. The raspberry-lime cheesecake was lovely and zesty. And the pear ice cream on cinnamon cataiffi pillow was inventive and delicious.
