So good!

Our lunch was so delicious! We definitely come back. The service was nice and the atmosphere was very good. We had the Nameko Noodles (sooo good!) and the Bibimbap. It would be nice if the bibimbap had more sauce.

Main dishes boring and almost all drinks contain sugar

I don’t like taste of main dishes (in my case it was noodles) it was to sweet, noodles to soft and with boring ingredients (no tofu or edemame, or other beans, only cabbage and fried onions…) and again it was too sweet. For the same price at different places you can find much more tasty and nutritious balanced dishes. Gyoza as snack was tasty.

Pros: Gyoza was good

Cons: Almost all drinks contain added sugar , Noodles boring and too sweet, Expensive

spicyyyyy

i'm sorry but i'm gonna be really subjective in this review! perhaps this is a nice place objectively but we had a bad luck or just a bad day in common so i stayed disappointed 😢
we came to have a takeaway and ordered couple of dishes. i was really amazed to try tempeh satay and also really hungry. we didn't check the order and came home where i realised they messed up and somehow gave me spicy potatoes instead of the so much wanted satay 😭😭😭 leaving aside the fact that wasn't the dish i wanted at all, i also didn't want anything spicy but at the end just got stuck with the spicy potatoes (idk how many times i can use the words "spicy potatoes" in this review but let's see haha)
we also had two dishes to share which were peking pancakes and watermelon tataki. i had hopes for them as i didn't like the spicy potatoes 😁 much, but those two dishes also didn't impress me... the watermelon tataki might be good on its own but there may be a chance they gone bad and liquidy on our way home, so it wasn't very impressive in the end. unfortunately!
i saw a lot of excellent reviews here and i don't want to be a party pooper but just have an urge to share my unfortunate story with the stupid spicy potatoes!

Friendly staff and tasty food

We trued multiple things from the lunch menu. Everything tasted very nice but I didn't like the pickled ginger that they seemed to put on nearly every dish

Amazing service, amazing food

I'm looking forward to trying the rest of the dishes on the menu. I hope to return, if not on this trip, then on my next visits to Amsterdam. It's amazing! There is a good vibe among the staff, and the service is very friendly.

Very cozy.

Sorry, we couldn't resist taking any pictures of the food. But it was amazing.

Cozy place with choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Service quick and friendly. Wasn't too hungry and chose the Gyoza which was nice, just missed the ginger taste offered on the menu.
Uberhappy this is a place where you still can pay cash!!!

Pros: friendly staff!, cash payment possible!

Cozy and delicious

Me and my wife went here our first evening in Amsterdam. Great dishes to share, great variety. Superdelicious, some dishes were a bit spicy but it’s clearly marked on the menu. Absolutely recommend if you visit Amsterdam!

Pros: Great food, Fast service, Variety

Cons: Bit spicy (not necessarily a con)

Delicious

The atmosphere of Amsterdam is amazing. It feels like the Amsterdamians have conquered the streets, and squeezed in there is this place.

I had kimchi koketjes and a mapu tofu and both were delicious. The staff were friendly and spoke fantastic English.

The mapu tofu said spicy, but wasn't very spicy. They had some extra chilli on the side to help with that.

Pros: Nice staff, Good food, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Could have had more szechuan pepper :)

Tasty lunch stop near the park

Veganees is located conveniently near Vondelpark as you'll want to go for a walk and burn the calories off afterwards! It is asian fusion food. My husband and I couldn't decide what we wanted so we ordered a sharing platter with gyozas, cauliflower wings, satay tempeh skewers, prawn crackers and wontons. We also ordered some kimchi croquettes as extras.. it was a lot for lunch between two! I had a traditional Vietnamese iced coffee. Loads of local beers available as well as juices. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Lovely laid-back vibes. Was surprised that it wasn't busier when we visited.

Best vegan food in Amsterdam

The Kimchi Fries were really good. We also had the bao bans and the Kimchi BLT. The drinks are probably the highlight they offer a vast variety of different drinks.

Pros: Food, Service , Atmosphere

Tasty vegan food

The food was very tasty. Shared dining with asian fusion dishes. All vegan.
Because of the shared dining it's easy to order a lot, which makes it pricey.

Pros: All vegan, Tasty food, Shared dining

Cons: Pricey

Good food and service, just a tad too pricey

Had three small plates, and a macha iced tea. The food was cooked well, and the staff were very attentive. A little pricey for what it is, but definitely worth at least one visit.

Pros: Food, Staff, Atmosphere

Cons: Cost

Excellent food and service

We really enjoyed our lunch here in a very comfortable booth. We had many dishes including the bao, tempeh satay, miso ramen and the nameko noodles. Our server was sweet and service was fast and good. They also have alcoholic drinks for a wonderful happy hour with Vegan snackies.

Decent but not great

Probably didn't pick the best options, but the fried cauliflower was a bit bland. Fries over cooked. The sauce was good though

Delicious sandwiches!

I had a katsu sando and my friend had the vegan BLT and they were both delicious. I loved the katsu sando, it was rich in umami flavour and they make their own vegan milk bread.

Pros: Friendly staff, Delicious food

The streetfood basket is the one

You should try in this place. The fried cauliflower are insanely good, the mushroom bao bun omg. It took about 45 minutes to get the food but that’s probably not the regular case. Lovely place as well.
